25.01.2022 Our 2020 year in review We started the year with a strong full team of practitioners and positivity guiding the way. We set our intentions, made vision boards together and participated in a sage cleaning ritual with sound bowls and roses. It was the perfect start to the year. By the beginning of April we had only a few practitioners left still working in the centre. There was lots of grief tears as we said goodbye to what was the centre as we knew it and began the recovery c...hapter. It was the year of making some great changes that restored our centre back to near full capacity and continuing to support our community with the relaxing space away from zoom sessions. We welcomed seeing clients back face to face and being able to offer them simple pleasures like water and tissues that you can’t do on zoom. We upgraded our reception space and ended the year with a fresh new team of dedicated and interesting practitioners. 2021 we are here and we are stronger than ever. Thanks to all the lessons 2020. We look forward to supporting you with your health goals for 2021.

24.01.2022 Tash our featured practitioner tells us about Healthy Food Habits. When we’re busy living life (or living a busy life!) it can feel like there’s just no time or energy to invest in building new healthy habits around food. If your smartphone is always nearby, you can make it a little easier on yourself though. You might like to try some of these apps, designed to help you create new habits through mindful eating, without demanding too much of your time: Headspace a guided... meditation and mindfulness APP, which includes some mindful eating and movement activities (and many other topics, that may help you balance other areas of your life too). A subscription is required to use it, although they do offer a free trial so you can test out whether it is the right fit for you. InsightTimer another guided meditation APP. This is free to use, and has lots of recordings focused on mindful eating and movement. In the Moment Mindful Eating This APP focuses on improving body awareness, which helps you to decide whether you are actually hungry or are eating for other reasons. The mindfulness activities included with this APP are specifically aimed at supporting in-the-moment eating challenges. It isn’t free, however, it is only $1.06 to purchase. Eat Right Now For those who prefer something a little more structured, this is a 28-day program designed to shift your relationship with eating. The first four modules are available as a free trial, so you can get to know whether this program suits your needs and style before committing the $100 purchase price for the full program. Nutridi Mind your Food Another structured option, offering a 10-day mindful eating program delivered through spoken recordings. The program is targeted at helping you find a balanced diet and to better understand your emotions around food. Eunoia Grace Therapy

24.01.2022 Don’t lose weight, you want back the things you lose. Gain health. This is the focus that featured practitioner Natasha encourages in her clients at Eunoia Grace Therapy. Specialising in helping women release themselves from weight loss mindset, so that they can find more balance and joy in their life, and finally be free to live the life they deserve. ... Helping them to see the possibilities beyond the limits and restrictions we place on ourselves when preoccupied with trying to make our bodies look a particular way. Encouraging them to instead embrace a mentality of "choosing food our bodies enjoy" and "moving to enhance life" as they reclaim trust and respect for their bodies, as they are. Holding space for them as they learn to lovingly lean into the discomfort of doing life differently to how they’ve always known. And then lean in a little more. Being with them as they explore and come to understand their mindset, feelings, and beliefs (because that's all part of us too, beyond what we eat and how we move, isn't it?) And guiding them as they practice supporting themselves through building and strengthening habits that are aligned with their own values, so that they can live their best life. 21.01.2022 For so many of us sickness, fatigue, stress, and unhappiness are our mind and body trying to tell us that we are living off balance. If you imagine all the elements of your life as segments within a circle, how much of your mental space (not just actual time) fills each segment on the average day? How well balanced is your circle of life? One of the things Natasha our featured practitioner is passionate about is helping her clients realise their unique version of balance. She says every person’s well-balanced life will look different, yet we all need to find that balance to be able to live with health and happiness AND for unleashing our true potential. What would an ideal balance look like for you, and how will you reach it? Eunoia Grace Therapy
20.01.2022 Becoming Free In The Bedroom On this episode, Lucy sits down with Cindra Conscious Couples to talk all things sex and pleasure, especially blocks to our sexuality. We discuss how our sex education growing up didn't serve us and how this has negatively impacted the way we experience sex. Many women seem to have disassociated from sex all together, which takes them out of their bodies. This denying of pleasure leads to unhappiness and resent, to themselves and their partners.... We talk about how to bring pleasure back into the body, how we start with self pleasure and addressing self beliefs - This is the key to unlocking the permission to enjoy sex. Masculine and feminine energies play a huge role in all of this too, it's when these energies are out of balance or negatively expressed that issues begin to arise. The notion of doing and receiving are covered here too, how we are just doing what innately we have done, leading to disappointing results. We then get to the juicy stuff - Sex toys and yoni eggs! For more on these, head to this link: https://www.yonipleasurepalace.com/?ref=cindrabanks Thanks so much for listening and we hope this has opened your eyes to new opportunities and growth in this area! For more on Cindra and Conscious Couples, head to Instagram @consciouscouplescoaching and @cindranbanks - The links in the bios have all the info you need. 13.01.2022 Tash of Eunoia Grace Therapy our featured practitioner asks: What if there was another way? Instead of:... > hating on our bodies and wishing they looked better > being uber controlling about what we let them eat > shoulding on them about how to move, to look good What if there were a kinder, gentler, road to health and happiness? Imagine: > caring for the body you have now > eating for well-being > moving to enhance life What would that be like? This is the journey Natasha from Eunoia Grace has been on. She draws on her own experiences in life to help her clients find a new way, when the things they’ve tried before aren’t working for them anymore. She uses the tools she has learnt through life and her studies in alternative therapies to help women: > Adjust perspective. > Shift internal dialogue. > Get curious about intentions. Her hope for them is that they can make space to start being more compassionate towards themselves in their efforts to improve their health and quality of life.

12.01.2022 Jennylee Taylor - Breathe and be You is our featured practitioner for January 2021! Lets get to know our extremely grounded and ever present practitioner Jennylee. What are you into right now, what’s your latest passion and why?... Jennylee is our resident Breathwork Practitioner and Authentic Personal Power Specialist. Right now, Jennylee is totally into co-authoring a powerful book called Wild Woman Rising: Women who carved their path which is due out at the end of January through @ashwinpublishing. It took her until she was 47 and complete burnout to realise that life had been tapping quietly on her shoulder and then finally screaming at her to change her approach to career, health and life. Her passion is working with successful career women who feel like they are losing themselves in the hecticness and want to make a contribution without having to sacrifice their authentic self to get ahead. In her free time she rides her motorbike, connects with family and friends, spends a lot of time in nature and absolutely loves creating things out of wood and natural materials.

09.01.2022 Getting to know featured practitioner Tash of Eunoia Grace Therapy ! We asked her, what do you like most about being part of the NHC space? It’s a sanctuary. A solace where we find ourselves surrounded by heart centred, open minded, caring people. This is a space where many of us don't meet for some time due to our differing schedules.... Yet when we do come together, it's all inclusive, non-judgemental, and very accepting. We're all different and unique yet embrace each other with curiosity and compassion. That vibe can be felt in "The Castle" no matter who is in there (or even if it's empty). It's welcoming, safe, and calm. This isn’t just a place where clients come to heal and find more harmony in life. It’s a whole community, a support network for both clients and their healers. Being self-employed, let alone in the healing space, and especially in the alternative world, is anything but easy. It's scary putting yourself out there, and it can leave you feeling really alone. At the Collective we are not only encouraged to be visible, we’re also shown how. We’re guided by those who have come before us. And we’re offered lots of avenues for our own growth and healing, because like our clients, we’re all humans on our own journey too. Knowing that this team of like-minded people is there for us to "collect" with is invaluable.
09.01.2022 The idea of having therapy often feels overwhelming and scary. Images of dredging up your deepest darkest confessions and being forced to unpack the issues that feel excruciatingly uncomfortable and unwelcomed may spring to your mind. You may ask yourself, why on earth would I want to concentrate on all that dark stuff?! I'll only feel worse! The fact is we ALL experience the dark stuff; be it parts of ourselves we dislike or doubt, relationship struggles, challenging situat...ions...the darkness hits us whether we like it or not. When we don't accept darkness as part of life, we experience our sadness, anger, confusion, struggles as reactions we should not feel, acknowledge or appreciate. Let alone explore in therapy! Yet, our feelings and reactions are necessary, healthy, they are our body's way of trying to get us in touch with ourselves and reality. When we start accepting that darkness is as natural as light, pain is as natural as joy, struggle is as natural as ease...can we begin to embrace all shades of ourselves and our reality. Therapy is like that jetty; a steady holding support for you whilst you explore your dark and light and learn to appreciate and know yourself rather than go against yourself and reality! For when we learn this, we find peace and our path. If this resonates with you, connect with Kas pitkin therapy our practitioner of the month to make a booking.
07.01.2022 Get to know our kind spirited featured practitioner Tash Brown of Eunoia Grace Therapy Questions 1) What are you into right now, what’s your latest passion and why? Natasha is passionate about finding freedom from weight fixated measures of health and happiness. Having lived her life through a preoccupation with body image (as many of us do) she has experienced all the swings and roundabouts. From undereating and over exercising, to overeating and under exercising, and ever...y place in between. Now in her 30’s, she has finally awoken to the realisation that we cannot force ourselves thin or healthy through self-loathing, judgement, restriction and no pain no gain mentalities. This has seen her break free from the weight obsessed diet and exercise culture that kept her on that rollercoaster ride through life. She now pursues her own, intuitive, space of health and happiness. She says I’ve opened myself to listening to my own body, instead of what others tell me about how I should be eating or moving. Our bodies are all different, except in that they are all designed to tell us what they uniquely need. Accepting and trusting my body’s innate ability to guide me has seen me starting to become healthier and happier than I’ve ever been. This has released me from being consumed by how much I weigh or what size my clothes are, giving me space to consider how I really want my life to be, and what happiness actually means to me. Natasha has found this new perspective so empowering that she is creating a program that will offer her clients a chance at the same freedom to be uniquely themselves in their own pursuit of health and happiness.
05.01.2022 Francine Jordà Family Constellations Feeling gratitude and joy after four days of sharing constellation resources with such a beautiful group of professionals with a big heart. Gratitude for the possibility to offer this training face to face this year, when so many of my colleagues around the world cannot. For the land on which we met, the traditional country of the Awabakal and Worimi people, and for the vibrant room at the Newcastle Health Collective. For the coherence of ...the group which allowed deep healing, learning and growing. For the companionship of Kelly Devine and her subtle, warm and effective facilitation process. For the rest I enjoyed at your place, dear Christine, with this very German warmth and attention to detail of yours. Finally for the courageous participants at the open workshop who came with a very open attitude and blended beautifully with the rest of the group. I wish you all well.
05.01.2022 Our gorgeous featured practitioner Tash of Eunoia Grace Therapy told us a common piece of advice that she gives out to her clients! Be kind to you! It's so common for us to be hard on ourselves. ... Yet when we’ve been brave enough to put our hand up and say I need help in my search for health and happiness is one of the times when being gentle with ourselves is most important. This is a time when we are vulnerable, uncertain, and often simply exhausted from all the "work" we're doing with ourselves. The journey might not be as easy as we hope. It might not happen as quickly as we hope. There may be more layers to peel than we realised. Giving ourselves permission to go a little easy can take a real load off.
04.01.2022 Whoop whoop! This is a life changer x
04.01.2022 Tash of @eunoia grace therapy our featured practitioner talks about our inner world. Keep on reading for more information x Our inner world holds so much influence over how we experience and behave in our outer world. Our thoughts, feelings, and beliefs are the filters that process everything in our lives. Because of this, we live life from certain bias points. ... This influences how we think and feel about other people. And it influences how we think and feel about ourselves. One commonly held bias is weight EXCLUSIVITY. This inner view tells us that there is an exclusive way we should look, in order to be: > healthy > attractive > fit > lovable > accepted This bias leaves many of us feeling pretty poor towards ourselves. And if we’re really honest, often judgmental towards others. Getting stuck in this perspective can suck a lot of the fun and joy out of life. A different perspective, that we can consciously choose as one of our life filters, is weight INCLUSIVITY. Through this we can choose to see the world from a place where we: > recognise that people living in all sorts of body shapes and sizes can struggle with health habits > accept that all bodies can be healthy > understand that fitness varies by individual ability, not necessarily by size > respect and value personal abilities, independent of weight > notice what we enjoy about the people we surround ourselves with, other than how they look When we choose to filter life through this view, we can find ourselves creating more meaningful connections with others and being more compassionate towards ourselves.
