Ahead of the re-commencement of our respective competitions this weekend, Broadmeadow Magic FC would like to reinforce t...he revised kick-off times for fixtures scheduled at Magic Park in 2020. Broadmeadow Magic would like to acknowledge the immense work from our volunteers and committee to get to us to the re-start of the competition. And the club would like to thank Northern NSW Football for their leadership and guidance to ensure the transition to Return to Train and then Return to Play were as smooth as possible, and for their organisation to redraft each respective competition. NPL Northern NSW Senior Fixtures NPL/ First Grade- 2:30pm Reserve Grade (formerly U20's)- 12:15pm U18's- 10:15am Herald Women's Premier League Fixtures WPL/ First Grade- 3:00pm Reserve Grade- 1:00pm U17's- 11:00am U14's- 9:00am NPL Youth Fixtures U16's- 3:00pm U15's- 1:00pm U14's- 11:00am U13's- 9:00am Patrons in attendance will need to sign-in via the manual sheet or via the QR code located at the front gate or at the players-race entrance (players and staff). Only one sign-in for the day is required, and there is no need to sign-out. Social distancing 1.5m applies to all areas of the facility, signs indicating maximum capacity of rooms are in place, please adhere to these. Our maximum capacity as per the Department of Health guidelines remains at 500 pax and one time, so feel free to get to the game and cheer on your Magicians in person. If you are feeling unwell or showing symptoms of COVID-19, DO NOT ATTEND Magic Park. We all have a responsibility to act appropriately to ensure we do not re-enter lock-down (let Victoria be a lesson) and destroy what remains for the football season. Hand sanitiser is located at the front gate, at the bottom of the stairs to the veranda, at the players race, and canteen. Newcastle Macedonia Sports Club would like to thank all patrons for their phenomenal support of our last specials, and we have decided to keep on our menu our Macedonian Burek with Cheese. This also means that the popular Super Magician Plate is staying too!!! For this weekend's Daily Spec...ials, NMSC is pleased to announce that another Macedonian home-cooking favourite will grace our menu; the Sarma. - Sarma Special Plate- Macedonian Sarma (Rolled cabbage leaf stuffed with mince and rice, 2 pieces), 6 Home-made kebapi, Zelka Salata, with Bread on the side. $15 - Macedonian Burek (Layered Pastry filled with Cheese)- $5 a piece. Entry if free to all, gates open 6:00pm. All Magic teams, sponsors and families are encouraged to attend. Parking inside Magic Park for 2021 is limited to disabled ticket holders, Magic Sponsors and Team Managers. 13.01.2022 NEWS- Magic Park was fortunate to be graced by Hollywood royalty today, as Johnny Depp made the long-haul trip to grab himself a few Magic Snack Packs on their debut at the Broadmeadow Magic FC Herald Women's Premier League fixture today. Now re-christened the "Pirate of the Kebapi" , Johnny will have to put in some extra gym time to squeeze into his trademark tights after smashing our home-made treasures. On Saturday Broadmeadow Magic FC will host Weston Workers Bears FC in NPL Northern NSW action, and on Sunday the Magic Herald Women's Premier League ladies host Adamstown Rosebud Junior Football Club. After the huge response from the WPL fixture last week for our home made kebapi, we will not be presenting our usual daily specials this weekend as we... need the time to pump out more of our delicious kebapi for both days. This means that you will be able to try our hit Magic Snack Boxes, Kebapi Rolls, and Kebapi Plates all weekend long, as well as our regular match day fare. See you at Magic Park this weekend, open till later on Saturday night for the Rugby League on our big screens. 07.01.2022 FROM THE KITCHEN- This Sunday 2nd August, Senior Men's football returns to Magic Park as Broadmeadow Magic FC hosts the Edgeworth Eagles. Sunday coincides with Illinden, or "Day of the Republic" which commemorates the Illinden Uprising of 1903 which laid the foundations for our claims for statehood, as a brave band of Macedonian patriots revolted against Ottoman oppression. By the time the rebellion had started, many of its most promising potential leaders, including Goce De...lchev, had already been killed by the Ottomans, and the effort was quashed within a couple of months. The survivors managed to maintain a guerrilla campaign against the Turks for the next few years, but its greater effect was that it persuaded the European powers to attempt to convince the Ottoman sultan that he must take a more conciliatory attitude toward his Christian subjects in Europe. Newcastle Macedonia Sports Club is proud to commemorate our most important National day with a fresh selection of Daily Specials to compliment our regular menu offerings. Newcastle Macedonia is proud to announce a new format for kitchen operations as we aim to extend our service to our community. At each Magic home game we will be offering different "Daily Specials" items for patrons visiting Magic Park. Specials are available all day.
