Some highlights include; -Australian Rugby League Prime Ministers 13 -WNRL State Of Origin NSW Halfback -WNRL Roosters Prior to her League career, Melanie was actually also a University of Newcastle Seahorse in XV’s, and carved a highly successful 7 a side career, highlights include; -NSW 7’s National Champions -UNE 7’s -NSW Country XV’s -3 x NHRU Women’s Player of the Year Mel is also a UoN Alumni, completing her Teaching degree at the university. 24.01.2022 2020 1st XV Colts Presentation was held at our Major Sponsors Hunt Hospitality owned Duke Of Wellington Hotel on Saturday 21st November. All players received their Hunter Wildfires players medallion each with their unique players number which were presented by NHRU President Bill Clifton and 1st XV Coach Scott Bubba Coleman. After the medallion presentation the 2020 seasons major awards were presented to the following players.... Best Back: Mick Taylor Best Forward, Players Player: Justis Gerrard Best and Fairest: Ben Dyson Thank you to all the players, supporters and sponsors that were a part of the 2020 Colts season and made it all possible.
