20.01.2022 EXTRA CURRICULUM DAY TOMORROW: Dept of Education and School Council have approved an additional much needed day for staff to prepare for remote learning. Remote learning starts on Thursday.

20.01.2022 Dear Parents/Guardians, A number of new steps are in place across Victoria to combat the spread of the coronavirus (covid 19), including bringing forward the school holidays to Tuesday 24th March. At this stage, the first day of school for Term 2 is Wednesday the 15th of April. We are asking that if your child has medication at school please come in today to pick it up. If you are not connected to Class Dojo please do so today- contact the school if you need assistance.... Staff will be working behind the scenes to establish online learning for students should schools continue to be disrupted. We know that our community may not have access to internet/devices etc. If this is the case we will work out alternatives from next term onwards, if required. I would like to publically praise our staff for their extraordinary efforts in working with your children over the past few weeks: ensuring hands are washed, work is provided for those at home and for those at school, reassuring confused/worried children and maintaining that bright and friendly face that we see each day. National Treasures! Jackie Haines See more

11.01.2022 Dear NPPS Community, No doubt you have seen the news that students are required to learn from home during Term 2. Were all in this together and the staff are eager to lead and support this process and to be connecting with each and every student on a regular basis. The first day of school for students is next Wednesday the 15th of April. Families currently enrolled at the school will be sent all the information that they need via ClassDojo as to how this day will work. We st...ill have a handful of parents who are yet to accept the invitation to connect onto ClassDojo. We will be contacting these families again next week as a matter of urgency. On ClassDojo we will be providing information around access to technology, access to paper copy work and around what supports are in place for students who may need to attend school. We do not anticipate having many/any students actually at school. We will however still have one or two staff onsite from next Wednesday. If you have any questions about any of this, particularly if you have any confusion around whether your child should be attending school then please message us asap via ClassDojo. Take care everyone ,enjoy spending Easter at home and we look forward to working with you during this complex time. Jackie Haines Principal (acting)- NPPS See more

School running today as normal, curriculum day tomorrow (no students at school), remote learning on Wednesday. We will be in touch with more information ASAP. In the meantime, now is the time to make sure you still have ClassDojo on your devices and are checking it regularly. This is our main form of communication. Can we just say- these last three weeks with students back onsite have been so fabulous and will be sorely missed! Take care xx

04.01.2022 Hi NPPS families, some of you have arranged to come in to school on Monday to pick up learning equipment. Pick up is between 9-11am. It will be quite busy this week so please be patient with us. We have hand sanitiser as you walk in and will only allow two people to be in the foyer at one time so rug up if you are outside. We also have lots of free food- long life milk, cereal, tins of fruit, baked beans. Bring a shopping bag along if you would like to take some home. Have a wonderful weekend everyone, staff are exhausted but so proud of our students and their efforts in learning from home!

01.01.2022 HAPPY WORLD TEACHERS' DAY. Today we are celebrating both our teachers and our ES for the creativity, passion and kindness that they infuse into our school community each and every day. To all the past and current teachers and Education Support staff at NPPS, we salute you!

01.01.2022 As we celebrate NAIDOC week, NPPS would like to extend gratitude and respect to Indigenous Australians, the traditional custodians of this land on which we live and learn. We thank them for looking after this land (both physically and spiritually) for countless generations. We celebrate Indigenous culture, history and achievements. Always was, Always will be.
