21.01.2022 We had a very informative day today at the Employment Facilitator conference. The opening address was from Nathan Smyth, Deputy Secretary Department of Education Skills and Employment. We had a deep dive into the labour market post COVID-19, explored some case studies and also discussed several success tools. It was great to meet some of our fellow Employment Facilitators and Project Support Officers from across the nation, as well as our DESE colleagues. 18.01.2022 Fantastic news for BackTrack and Armidale! Through this one space so many opportunities will be created, with additional room for hands on training and education activities and new shared office area where partner and network services can deliver on site support for young people. Also, there will be a youth space, with accessible toilet and amenities, which will be used for sports, work with the BackTrack dogs and interaction with youth workers.
