19.01.2022 We have such nice guests. Here are some comments... Comfortable compact room, with a sliding glass door onto a terrace with a nice scenic view ! Covered parking which is an added convenience. Set well back from the road and elevated so very quiet. The free continental breakfast was filling and plentiful, they even have a full cooked breakfast menu if you want to purchase other options. The staff at check-in and a breakfast were both cheerful and friendly. Excellent service, D...aniel who checked us in is an asset to this business. Beds were comfortable, the staff were so pleasant, showers were fantastic, breakfast was a bonus. Never been to Armidale before Daniels knowledge of the area was fantastic Stayed here for one night when travelling with our two dogs. The room was spacious, very clean and very well appointed. Our dogs were allowed in the room, which was great as it was very hot. Friendly staff at reception. Continental breakfast included in the price is generous. We (and the dogs) would very happily stay here again.

13.01.2022 Daniel and Roseanne are already doing great things at Armidale Motel ably assisted by Howard. They have swept through the place like a white tornado and the motel is looking fantastic. They have somehow managed to boost occupancy to 100% for three days in a row. I don't know how they do it, but I'm not complaining. Great work guys.

07.01.2022 Roseanne and son Daniel have just taken over as managers of Armidale Motel. They have extensive experience in the motel industry and have returned to their New England roots. They both received rave reviews managing their previous motel and we look forward to a long and fruitful relationship

04.01.2022 We get all sorts of reviews, but this is the best I have seen. Congratulations to Ese and Anthonia for going out of their way to look after our guests.Well done. The manager of this motel, Essay, is one of the best hotel managers I have ever come across. He and his wife have taken such good care of me. I have worked in the number one hotel management school in Australasia for last 6 years and any one of those staff members will tell you that the mark of a 5 star hotel is when... the staff make you feel like it's your second home. The Armidale Motel may not be 5 star but the management is. You can train anyone to do anything in a hotel but an employee will only be successful with the right attitude and these managers have it in spades. I would stay here again any time. I hope the owners know what a gem they have in their managers. The motel is comfortable and clean and everything works as expected. The housekeeping staff were lovely and cleaned the rooms with attention to detail every day. But it's not the facilities I'll stay again for, it's the service and kindness shown to me by the managers. See more

04.01.2022 Dick Smith is spot on with this. Not only do they pay little or no tax, but they are also exempt from GST for some reason. In the early days of Wotif and simila...r agencies, commission rates were 10% and below. Now it is 15% and above. Motels have no option but to pass on the higher commissions to the customer, so remember, IT IS ALWAYS CHEAPER TO BOOK DIRECT WITH THE MOTEL. Either by phone or on the motel website. See more
