17.01.2022 So many ironic & conflicting emotions watching Lord Reags' all-time favourite Superbowl (XXV) between Buffalo Bills & the New York Giants 28 years ago. From our troops in the Persian Gulf (Aussie Diggers & British there too) to everyone proudly flying their flags... to Whitney Houston's glorious rendition of the Star Spangled Banner ... this game had it all. We still have troops in foreign lands this day. Wouldn't it be nice to unite as one nation this Superbowl for the troops & put all our petty political differences aside for this game & hopefully it will remind us all just how great it is to be simply an American, an Australian or a British ally? Canadians & Mexicans too. Everyone take pride in your country & just enjoy another great Superbowl! Peace, love & joy to you all! - Lord Reags

When travelling, Lord Reags does enjoy audio books. Here he is relaxing offline at Elvaston, his enchanted cottage in the country. {Lower New England, Australia}

07.01.2022 Lord Reags would like to see a lifesize chess set established globally in towns to bring people together and stimulate thinking which is excellent for fighting ...off early onset dementia and alzheimers. Space permitting, a few tables with chess board tops to surround or adjoin the larger set will allow spectators some practice whilst waiting for their turn to play the main larger game. Naturally, the permanent tables surrounding the multi-purpose larger chess set can also accommodate other social games (non-digital, interactive, face-to-face) such as mahjong, draughts, cards, trivial pursuit etc). Feel free to suggest a location to your local council, like, comment & share if you agree. Thanks for taking the time to read & share this post of Lord Reags. See more

03.01.2022 Lord Reags' 2nd cousin (x 14) Alessandro de Medici (1510-1537) Duke of Florence... His mother was presumably an Arab slave or a peasant woman from Roman Campagna. He was brought up in the Medici palace in Florence from where the family had fled in 1527 on hearing that Rome had been sacked. Following the Treaty of Barcelona he returned to Florence in 1530 at the head of an army of Spanish mercenaries where the governing body declared him an hereditary duke after the dissolution of the Signoria. However, his power faltered after the death of Clement VII. At the age of 26 he was killed by an assassin who was presumably hired by his cousin, Lorenzino (the son of the great-grandson of Lorenzo il Vecchio).
