17.01.2022 New Era Total was engaged by our client to revegetate various areas at their site as reparation of disturbed earth due to the construction of a wind farm. The client had various areas that needed to be revegetated including providing a solution to stabilize steeper banks. The area needed to be revegetated due to construction and civil activity on site. Our team decided the best method would be to Hydromulch the areas, using our Finn T60 machine, a formulation of Conwed fibres..., Annual Rye Grass and Vital Poly Kelp was chosen as the formulation for the project. The Conwed acts as a cover for the seed, reduces soil loss and helps germinate the seed. Poly kelp offers immediate soil stabilisation whilst incorporating a balanced range of nutrients for amelioration. It is also proven to provide immediate soil stabilisation. Hydromulching was chosen due to its proven ability to re establish and revegetate large areas and its effectiveness on high grade slopes and immediate and effective erosion control and quick growth benefits. The area identified was 2000m2 and full coverage was achieved in one day in a safe and professional manner. The client was very happy with the end result!
