16.01.2022 Late last week the team had two badly sagged ceilings to remove and replace with the first one being a house built in the late 1960s. Now when dealing with removing a old ceiling it is critical to be wearing the correct safety equipment and here's why. The filters from my respirator on the left are from removing just one of the ceilings compared to the new filters on the right. Being 70 kms out we thought we'd roll out the swags and camp on site for the duration of the job to save time on travelling and keep the customers costs down. 05.01.2022 ATTENTION ATTENTION We recently had a customer that gave us a call to inspect a possible sagging ceiling in there carport. On further inspection we found the joist had dropped a significant amount from the trusses due to poor building. The team at new generation ceilings went ahead and removed the ceiling and put 55mm bugle screws through every joist including double strapping with new 10mm gyprock and 90mm cornice This ceiling was also holding the roller door unit abov...e the customers pride and joy vehicle which could of caused damage if the ceiling had happen to fall.
