I’m Nic (well Nicole) - I am the mumma at my house - being a working mum I’ll admit, can somedays be a tough gig - But mostly - oh so totally worth it! - I feel crazy lucky to have the life I have! - My babies are actually pretty amazing little people! 18.01.2022 Krystle The very best stories are never just about the events that happen to us in life. The really good ones, those we remember and retell, are about the people who take the not so glamorous and make it sparkle anyway! I want to introduce you to one very special lady! (I say lady, but I mean warrior!). I met Krystle just over a year ago, with her permission, I would like to share a little about her journey. ... Krystle is a single mum, she has 5 kids at home, aged from 1-15, she does all the things that mums and dads do. She works, she cooks, she cleans, she races the kids from A to B and probably runs a little late for C, just like the rest of us. Only Krystle does this not only for her own kids, but her sisters too. Sadly her sister died from cancer and without another care giver, she took on her niece and nephew. I know right!! .... me too!! The story however, doesn’t end there, Krystle’s partner and father to her then toddler also died unexpectedly. So she faces the every day stuff, every day, just on her own. So where do I come in? Well this absolute warrior needed a home for these babies, so together we hustled! This new home journey as you can imagine was not super straight forward, but....... it was one that needed to happen. With her family behind her, Krystle trusted me, we took the steps, the time we needed to and it fills me to the brim to tell you, we got it! Finance done, prestart sorted, its a clear line to construction for these guys. We took a standard design and tweaked it to be a 6 bed home for Krystle and her brood. Oh the stories these walls will tell in a few years! I can tell you, this new home journey is one that will stay with me a long time. Congratulations lovely lady!
