23.01.2022 Bought the little (not so little) 2 yr old Shepherds Hill Rickie home to start getting some lessons in before we can go to shows. Am loving the way he has filled out.
16.01.2022 We are super excited to announce that we have Dina Van Gorsuch joining our New Horizons Pleasure & Sport Horses & Pony Stud on Saturday. Dina is 87.5% Friesian Warmblood & is heavily in foal to Mark's pure bred stallion Geale fan Fjildsicht which will mean that the resulting foal will be 93.75% Friesian Warmblood. We want to thank Mark Gorsuch so much for the opportunity to purchase Dina, Zena & firstly our big main man Zeus. Our goals to breeding top quality sport horses with exceptional temperaments, movement, body type & higher %'s of Friesian breeding are very quickly becoming a reality. We also want to thank the people who have supported us with our journey so far. Here's to a very bright future

10.01.2022 Loved spending the long weekend at home for easter. Weather was great so what do you do? Spend some quality time with your horses and ponies. Just love that Zeus as a Stallion is so accepting of just anything. Didn't even stop munching when there was a cat or dog sitting on his back. Jukebox Park Rock With You had his second ride ever. What a little trooper he is. Really loving how he is coming along. He will make a super ridden pony once going well.... The Meadows Merlyn got a quick spin too. Shannon just added Rock's reins to Merlyn's headstall & off she went. We are really blessed to have such easy going horses and ponies. It really does make what we do so easy and a pleasure.
08.01.2022 Shannon & I attended the North Central APSB Group Show today. We took Glenelen Hot Shot & The Meadows Merlyn. Merlyn went out into a big line up for Senior Best Presented Shetland with about 15 really lovely ponies. He then did his Led Senior Gelding over 10 Hands with about 10 other competitors. He won his Best Presented Class, Senior Led Gelding over 10h & Champion Senior Shetland Gelding. Hotty was the only Senior 8.2h & under Stallion today so got Champion Stallion. He ...behaved beautifully for an 11 year old that has only been shown 3 times in his life. This little man is a pleasure to do anything with. Thank you Ash Harrison & Mia for coming with us with Abby & Morgan.
08.01.2022 Where do we start. We attended the All Breeds Show Society Summer Carnival Show today in Bendigo with Zeus Van Gorsuch. He won the following: Best Presented Friesian Warmblood Best Handler of a Friesian Warmblood 1st FW Stallion Champion Senior Friesian Warmblood... Supreme Friesian Warmblood Best Performed Friesian Warmblood Champion Ridden Friesian Warmblood Champion Senior Led Heavy Horse We would like to thank the organising committee, Judges, Stewards, Australian Friesian Warmblood Horse Society, other sponsors & other competitors . A massive thank you to Matthew Foss for leading Zeus in all his classes. To Missy Combs, you are a legend! Riding the big man in the ridden Friesian Warmblood classes in the pouring rain & strong wind. Words cannot express how very proud we are of Zeus.
07.01.2022 Can't believe how well the big man is doing with just 5 weeks under saddle :) he is just amazing. Thank you so much Missy Combs for the education you are giving him. He is just loving being able to get out & work.

To see photos of ponies that we have bred and that have gone onto families with little children, and bringing so much joy to their little people is a fantastic feeling. 02.01.2022 Our very pregnant ladies in waiting... Floss is in foal to Zeus Van Gorsuch - her earliest due date is the 31.10.20, Molly's very latest date is the 9.10.20 (I sure hope she foals before then), Musk Lavender Maizy (black Shetland mare) has surpassed her earlist due date being the 4.10.20 & Brosha Abilene (chestnut Shetland mare) tends to go around the 320 day mark which puts her at 12.20.20. Anyone want bets on who's going to go first?????
