Younger generations are favouring family trips, holidays and their photos as family memories, not rooms and shelves of memorabilia. For Baby Boomers, does the lifestyle that you want moving forward outweigh the belongings you feel you cherish?... Have the conversation with your loved ones. If you can't hand them down then it's time to let them go! If you can, then do it now and enjoy watching your children, friends and family enjoy your treasures! 19.01.2022 A big garage declutter today. He had been building a staircase to go up to the mezzanine and as he saw the room get bigger he wanted to build it in right then and there. No problem for this PO! We worked well side by side and he still made quick decisions to donate and sell. Exhausted but happy after Stage 1! Hint: declutter on a verge collection week! Winning

11.01.2022 Come on down to Vinnies Bunbury! Deb and Denise are waiting to receive your loved items and to also sell you a bargain! Vinnies will take most things including electrical and sporting goods. They also have a rag service which turns unsaleable cottons and towelling items into bags o'rags. Buying preloved clothes and donating to Vinnies helps greatly to reduce textile waste and also saves you $$$$ These bags I dropped off are from a lovely, professional client who hired me ...to simplify her wardrobe last week. Her classy and generous donations will be hitting the shelves within the week! See more

08.01.2022 You may remember my client who hired me to declutter her carport? She did indeed invite me back into her home to work with her on her office/library. She was very adamant at the outset that she did not wish to purge any of her books. That's ok! They make her happy! It had been a long dream of hers to have them all out of boxes and on display. The only purchase my client has made through this process was a big bookcase to store them all. Again, she did well to purge and ...donate other items but it is a process that can take time and as you can see by the photos, she still has items in boxes that she will think about in the weeks to come. Simplifying is physical but also very much a mental process and our attachment to our belongings is impacted by our individual life experiences and health. When I am invited to work with women in their homes I assist them to achieve a level of organisation and simplicity that makes them happy and fulfills their goals, not mine. My client was sooo happy and was going to spend the weekend organising her books in genre! She has rebooked me for a 10hr declutter package! See more

05.01.2022 I've been busy! But it's not just about the 'declutter'. While we're working I'm learning more about you and what you want for your spaces and also your life moving forward. I'm trying to gain a little insight into your relationship with your home and your belongings so that I can best advise you how to store, display or donate. I'm teaching you good habits, skills and techniques for keeping things organised after I have left.... And I'm spreading a little sunshine and a few laughs into what might normally be an undertaking that is just too hard for you on your own. I love this job!

05.01.2022 Some are ugly, chipped, hard to hold and stained. Better keep them tho... you never know when a bus load of tourists will break down in front of your house and need tea. Start really looking at what you’re keeping!

04.01.2022 What is lurking under your kitchen sink ?! Eeek! It’s time to really look at it and give it some lovin! It doesn’t have to take long and it will feel so good Give yourself 15 minutes!... Here’s how: Remove everything from the cupboard. Group similar items together but don’t put your most used products in baskets as it just gets annoying Purge anything you no longer need and re-home random items that really shouldn’t live there. Clean baby clean! Organise and boom you’re done! You’re welcome (Here’s mine which took 5 )

03.01.2022 I really love what I do! I am delighted with my nice, 'new' kitchen and pantry. I had no idea I had accumulated so much stuff over the years. I really did need help to sort it all out, and dispose of the unwanted items. Now I can see exactly what I have, and where things are in the pantry.
