24.01.2022 We have so many things to celebrate this Sunday and we hope you decide to join us! After many months of lockdown and then restrictions, we are finally returning to a small sense of normalcy at New Life this weekend. Moving to the two square metre rule is allowing us to return to encouraging attendance weekly across our two services for everyone, and we are also allowed to sing again! NSW Health strongly recommends that congregants older than 12 years old wear face masks if s...inging or chanting. This is not mandatory but recommended by the Government. We encourage you to bring along a mask to wear or some will be available if needed in the church foyer. Please be assured that we are going to continue to run our services in a COVID-safe way with social distancing being practised, regular hand sanitising encouraged and thorough cleaning of our building being undertaken. This week's message sees the beginning of a miniseries through Isaiah, where we'll see how history changes when we encounter the living, holy Lord, who forgives our sin, & fills our lives with his glory, so we are passionate to serve him. If you still don't feel comfortable with attending church in person, our livestream will be available at 9am this week as usual. See you on Sunday!

22.01.2022 Join us in Mark 7 this week as we continue our series through the Gospel of Mark. Subscribe to our YouTube channel so you never miss out on a sermon! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCc1p121tqrBsHSYwQNPUKjw

21.01.2022 Jesus reminds us that death is a certainty for all of us, but also that there is one solution for all of us - believing in Him and receiving eternal life. When we understand the glory of this promise, we will be able to endure the pain and sorrow of this world with joy and live for something greater than money, pleasure and achievements. Praise God for the unimaginable hope that lies before us!

20.01.2022 if you haven't already, subscribe to our YouTube channel to listen to our weekly sermons: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCc1p121tqrBsHSYwQNPUKjw

19.01.2022 In the midst of anxious, doubtful, fearful, and sad thoughts, we know that comfort is found not in ourselves, our friends, our family or in our material possessions, but in God alone and the glorious hope He has given us though His Son Jesus Christ. He alone gives us lasting joy in the midst of life’s difficulties.

18.01.2022 WE’RE BACK! Starting from THIS Sunday the 19th July 2020, New Life Christian Church will be holding face-to-face services again at 9am and 10:30am at 240 Richmond Road, Woodcroft, 2767. In order to keep everyone COVID-safe and observing the 4m2 rule, each congregation has been divided into two and will be meeting fortnightly for the time being. Services will still be livestreamed each Sunday for those not attending. We will also be adhering to government restrictions in area...s such as cleaning, food, distancing, retrieval of contact details and singing. Newcomers are absolutely welcome to attend. What can you do in the lead up? Pray for the smooth running of our services, for our people to have their eyes fixed on Jesus, and for God to continue to bless New Life for His glory. Look forward to serving Christ and each other again as we encourage one another in the faith, and get really excited to worship God together again! If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us!

18.01.2022 Come join us as we delve into our new series in the book of John. On Sunday we will be exploring how Jesus is God in the flesh. He is the great Lord of creation who lived among us, is life and light, and he enables us to come into God’s family. He is full of grace and truth, and makes God visible to us.

18.01.2022 THIS FRIDAY NIGHT @ 8pm, Mark Brunacci from Creation Ministries is coming to New Life to talk on the topic "Does Truth Matter?" Bring your friends and family, young and old, to join New Life Youth for this thought-provoking night!

17.01.2022 We're diving into a new series this Sunday, as we explore the often overlooked book of Habakkuk and we'd love you to come along with us. The overarching theme of the book is that despite His people's doubt and lack of faith at times, God is always sovereign and we have every reason to trust Him. The livestream will be running from 9am on Vimeo and YouTube or you are welcome to join us in person as we worship together safely.

17.01.2022 This Sunday we'll be diving into the passage of Mark 12:13-37 which contains arguably one of the most well-known bible verses around the world. We'll be looking at how Jesus is asked a series of questions as a trap, with the religious leaders hoping he might say something that will incriminate him and provide an excuse for them to get rid of him. We all have questions of Jesus but when we ask, are we seeking the truth or something else? Our livestream will be back to the regular time of 9am this week - find us on Vimeo and Youtube. Looking forward to seeing everyone in church or online!

17.01.2022 Everyone is spending more time on their screens...but why not make it count? A new documentary called American Gospel is now streaming on Netflix, looking at what the good news of Jesus truly is and how the false prosperity gospel has so negatively impacted our world. If you’re looking for something to challenge, encourage, and deeply move you, we recommend this! https://www.netflix.com/au/title/81279408

17.01.2022 Did you know that there are only 6 more Sundays in 2020? And this Sunday, on the sixth last, we're continuing in our new series on the book of Habakkuk. In challenging times, God's people continue to live by faith affirming what we know about God, bringing our concerns to him and waiting on him to act, knowing that all things work for the good of those who love him. We will be live streaming our 9am service this week, as we also watch one our young people profess their faith in our Lord. We invite you to come and join us in celebrating this joyous occasion, whether together in person or with us online.

17.01.2022 Send us a message if you haven't yet but would like to join one of our small groups meeting on a Sunday morning in lieu of our larger gatherings. We encourage everyone to continue fellowship together as the body of Christ where possible! Subscribe to our YouTube channel where we will be uploading regular sermons: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCc1p121tqrBsHSYwQNPUKjw

16.01.2022 Join us this week as we finish up our series in Galatians, where we will be hearing about what a cross centred life looks like practically. We would love for you to come along!

14.01.2022 A reminder today to give thanks in both the bad and the good, because God works everything for good towards those that love and trust in Him, the ones He has called to be His own through faith in Jesus. Trusting in this promise will give us peace, rest, powerful joy, faithfulness, grounded lives, wisdom and strength to stand firm through any circumstance of life.

13.01.2022 In case you didn't know, we've been running both our 9am and 10:30am services in-person for a while now and we'd love to have you come along! This week we're capping off our series in Habakkuk, as we hear the message from chapter 3 where God, having responded to Habakkuk's complaints, stills his mind prompting him to pray, ponder & praise the Lord even when times are difficult. Sounds familiar doesn't it? Both of our services are COVID-safe, with social distancing practised... and regular cleaning of our building, and thanks to some easing of restrictions, this week will also be the last week where we are limited to the 4 square metre rule - our capacity will double as of next Sunday! Our live stream will be running at 9am this week if you'd like to join us online but we'd love to see you all at church on Sunday!

12.01.2022 God's Word tells us that all the difficulty, grief, pain, hardship, doubts, struggles with sin and sickness we face every day in this broken world are not without purpose - they are preparing us for an unimaginable glory that will make our troubles in this life seem tiny and insignificant. So, what should we do? "Therefore, we do not lose heart" (v.16). Don't give up!

11.01.2022 Are you joining us this Sunday? We're continuing our series in Mark, digging deeper into this informative and challenging gospel. Jesus has made His triumphal entry into Jerusalem, then he went to the temple looking for faithfulness, fruitfulness and prayer but found none of that. The people and the place that was meant to be a light to the nations had become a den of robbers. And so the question is, what does Jesus see when he looks at you, at us and at New Life?

11.01.2022 Church is back again! It filled our hearts to see our building with more people in it last week and we invite you to join us again this Sunday. As we move into our second week in our miniseries in Isaiah, our passage this week will show that in our fears, God graciously assures us in his Word that he is with us, so we might put our trust in him and not the world. Our 9am service will be live streamed on Vimeo and YouTube for those who are still not comfortable meeting in-per...son. Stay tuned for more announcements on this as we move into the new year. See you on Sunday!

10.01.2022 NLCC COVID-19 update 23rd March 2020 The NSW Government, in-line with health advice, has shut down all religious gatherings and places of worship. It has also affirmed the 4m2 rule for small gatherings. As a result, NLCC has suspended all large group activities at the church building including, Playgroup, Seniors, JAM, and Youth meetings. We do this out of love for each other and the wider community. We want to protect people from the spread of the virus. We also want to pr...otect our older people who are especially vulnerable to this disease. Small group meetings at people’s houses and at the church can continue for those who wish to continue meeting, provided the social distancing rules are maintained. But all members will be able to watch the weekly services online in their homes. Our services will continue to be available in this way each week, to enable all our members to sing, pray and hear God’s Word. We will miss our regular face-to-face meetings, but trust the Lord will keep us strong in him and connected to each other. We encourage people to read the Word, pray, and stay connected via the phone and one-to-one (again respecting social distancing guidelines). We know that the Lord loves his people and does all things for their good. Staff and elders will continue to available for prayer and pastoral care. With love in Christ, Brian Vaatstra

09.01.2022 Join us this Easter to hear how Jesus’ death and resurrection is at the centre of our faith and life. Our services will be running as normal, at 9am and 10:30am on both Good Friday and Easter Sunday. We would love for you to come along and celebrate with us!

09.01.2022 Are you new to our community and have been wondering about how to get involved? Do you want to find out more about our church and how you can partner with us? 08.01.2022 We look forward to meeting together again on Sunday and continuing our series in Mark. A reminder that we are running in a COVID-safe way so we encourage members and visitors to join us in person where possible. This week's message will show how Jesus teaches us that all we have is from God and that we are simply his stewards in his world. And although we have rebelled against him, he is patient with us and has given us his Son to save us from his wrath, and invites us to come under his good rule. Also an update that this week we will be live-streaming our 10:30am service, due to a Profession of Faith. Join us virtually either on Vimeo or YouTube.

07.01.2022 Join us this Sunday as we continue our series in the book of John. When we hear the biblical testimony about Jesus, have a personal experience of him and respond by living the radically transformed life he calls us to by the Spirit’s power, we can connect with God through Jesus.

03.01.2022 What is church? Church is not a building, a service, programs or religious activities. Church is people! The people who gather together as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ to encourage and strengthen one another in their faith. Though we have online services throughout this time, it’s important to remember that nothing can replace what church really is, the physical gathering of the believers who are the body of Christ [the church] and are each a part of it.

03.01.2022 What's something you can be thankful for today? We can always give thanks that God is good and that His love never ends. Even when people and circumstances change, God never ever changes, and that is enough reason for us to be thankful!

02.01.2022 Join us online tomorrow morning on Palm Sunday as we begin our Easter series through the gospel of Mark. Find the link to our YouTube channel below: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCc1p121tqrBsHSYwQNPUKjw

02.01.2022 How can we be content in every situation we face? How can we be free from the love of money? How can we know love even when we feel alone? How can we feel secure even though the world is a fearful place? The answer is in God’s promise to us that He will never leave us or forsake us. Through Jesus, God gives us a gift greater than anything else on earth - the gift of God Himself!

02.01.2022 Refresh is on again this coming Sunday! All are welcome to attend.

01.01.2022 Kids@NewLife, one of the best places a kid could be on a Sunday morning! Our children have so much fun playing together and learning about Jesus. Kids@NewLife and our creche are run every Sunday at 9am and 10:30am. Find out more by going to www.https://www.newlifechristianchurch.org.au/connect/#kids

01.01.2022 No amount of meditation, mindfulness or self love can give you the true and perfect peace that surpasses all understanding, given by God to those who put their hope in Him through Jesus Christ.
