In partnership with ADRA South Australia we will have a food pantry and cafe, plus our new church at Shop 9, 240 Peachey Rd, Smithfield Plains. Plan to set aside Oct 19 at 3:30pm and come join us celebrate opening our new facility.

Also you will be aware that restrict...ions have eased regarding churches and might be wondering when we can get back to church. Unfortunately it is not a very simple proposition at the moment as we are still required to meet a lot of rules including the 4m2 rule which severely limits the number of people we can have in a space. What this means at the moment is that we are not reopening immediately. We will be discussing this week what the level 3 restrictions will mean. Elizabeth church will be running a small adult sabbath school class but at the moment it is for invitees only so we can keep the numbers below the required limit. 18.01.2022 We need to be continually finding new expressions of church to meet a changing world and society. What choice are we willing to make for the purpose of the gospel?

16.01.2022 It is with great sadness in my heart that I share the news that a spiritual giant of Elizabeth Church has departed and left us. On Sunday evening at 9pm Jan Wat...son passed away from a heart attack. In every sense of the word she was a spiritual mentor to me, a confidante and a friend. She was someone I could go to when there was no one else I could speak to. She was a woman of God full of love for everyone and accepting of all regardless of their background, struggles or situation. She had a huge heart to help those who were down of their luck and was one acquainted with grief and hardship herself, but she was always quicker to give rather than take. She also deeply loved and invested in our youth and would forgo her own preference to give opportunities for them to take the reigns of the church and grow and even when they made mistakes, she only had love and encouragement for them. She modelled, grace, transparency, love for all and vulnerability and handled it with pure class. She was Nana Jan to all and was the matriarch of our church. I pray as we remember this great woman of God that we can decide to have a little bit of Jan in all of us. Vale Jan and may you rest in peace. When we arise at the resurrection, Ill be looking to see her face as she sees Jesus, the hope of her soul and the joy on her face will fill my heart. See more

16.01.2022 Last Sat we were blessed to have Roger Brooks from Compassion Australia come and share with us at our New Life service. 60 people joined us and we were inspired by Rogers challenge that being a follower of Jesus doesnt just mean that our lives are better but that other peoples lives are made better because we know Jesus. If anyone would like to make the lives of children living in poverty better, I cant think of a better way than sponsoring a child through Compassion or ...another organisation that directly helps children. 03.01.2022 In two days time, Sat 19 Oct at 3:30pm we will be launching our new community centre at Shop 9, 240 Peachey Rd, Smithfield Plains. We will have facepainting, balloons, a free bag with gift, music and kids activities. We will soon be opening a community food pantry and cafe, plus running exploring the bible groups, church services and a fishing club. It will be an opportunity to come and look at our new space and get a feel for what we will be doing there. Come along and bring a friend.
