05.01.2022 We have some exciting news! Next year, we will have Caitlyn working as a METRO trainee at New Life. We asked her some questions so that you could find out a little more about her. 1. How has the gospel changed your life? The gospel has helped me to find peace from worries and perfectionist tendencies. I am reassured of the incredible truth that I am loved by the Creator of this world - not because of my works or qualities- but because He loves me. This is shown through send...ing his only Son Jesus into the world, to live a perfect life, die to take my punishment for sin and be resurrected to life again. This enables me the freedom to focus more on loving God and those around me, and find my identity in Christ, rather than being caught up in seeking validation from earthly sources. 2. What are you looking forward to about your METRO apprenticeship? Of the many things I’m looking forward to about the METRO apprenticeship, the predominant one is growth and development - deepening my knowledge, understanding and relationship with God, whilst learning how to better love, support and encourage others on their faith journey.
