01.01.2022 Today the surf turned on almost like the flick of a switch. My mate @stuartmcdowell and I paddled out to some fun clean conditions with a good boost in size and energy compared to the past few weeks. We both scored some really good barrels and then just like that a rogue set hit and I got absolutely obliterated. I’ve been working too much lately and not surfing enough so it’s fair to say when the size jumped up I was out of my element. I got one really good bomb set and it fe...lt like one of my best waves at this spot. Adrenaline didn’t wear off until late afternoon. What a rush. I’ve been so swamped with edits and shooting jobs, it was nice to take a moment and get some waves and even put the drone up for a few shots. Happy Monday frothers. . . . .
