12.01.2022 Recent project... TV unit/Buffet update. This project was driven by the need to get something taller to stop my little cherubs from pulling at all the TV leads and recording all sorts on our foxtel box. I was looking for a particular profile on the doors and drawers, certain height and width to fit in my space and something solid and chunky. Gumtree delivered Dulux Ticking Grey bottom, restained the top and top coat Chalked Matt Clear....easy done. Still waiting on 2 new h...andles for the bottom drawers but otherwise all day in no time at all. I love getting exactly what I want for a fraction of the price of new + the character. $230...happy with that. You should have a try...

07.01.2022 The furniture reno is complete! It's amazing how a bit of paint has completely changed the style and feel of the room. If this is something you are interested in having done with your older, perhaps a little 'out of date' timber furniture, feel free to contact us. It can be done with any colour to suit your current decor and a much cheaper option than replacing everything for new! We have also included some pictures of some recent tinkering with timber - stunning timber serving trays and a very handy/family friendly shoe rack to hide away the millions of shoes our millipedes seem to leave at the front door! 04.01.2022 Another quick and easy furniture make over. I've always loved the big timber table look for family dinners, school projects, folding laundry etc but most importantly the gathering place for end of day chats. So when we moved and I had the space, I was on the hunt for a particular table setting. Thanks to gumtree, I found a solid timber table with big chunky turned legs, 8 traditional timber chairs that had been outgrown by another family. Perfect! Nothing better than furnitur...e with a history.... Sand, paint, sand, paint, scuff and rough up, Matt Clean top coat and tada! Sold the timber chairs on gumtree and bought black metal chairs to match my breakfast bar stools. Now, it's not everyone's cup of tea but another example of how easy it is to get what you like or you've seen on TV/Magazines in your home for nicks!

Ragged white paint finish, weathered and scuffed to give that 'well loved' appearance, new handles and brand new look! Before and Afters, 1 cabinet to go and the set is complete.
