23.01.2022 Good morning parents and students of Newman Dance Company I know you all have been waiting for information regarding the end of year concert. I have been leaving it as late as possible to try and sort out the aerial situation. Unfortunately, the aerial performances will not be happening the same night as the concert as we were unable to meet the requirements for the hiring of the building with the hanging of the aerial equipment. That being said those students and parents ha...ve been notified. As for the remaining of the concert it details are as follows. Saturday 7th December Newman Rec Centre Doors open at 6.30pm for 7pm start Hair in 2 braids Make up red lips and brown eyeshadow The BMX Club will be selling food and drinks hopefully we can get a menu and pricelist to you soon. 21.01.2022 Term 4 enrollments are open. Please remember that you had to be in that class for term 3 as well for the end of year concert, which will be on the 7th December. 21.01.2022 It has come to that time of year again. Get together with a couple of friends and get creative making up a dance for the competition. The winners will be invited to perform their routine at the end of year concert. Register next week. competition day is the 30th November 2pm at the studio. Any questions just yell out :)

14.01.2022 So i had a speech that i had been practicing for weeks now but unfortunately it was a bit harder than i thought so i didnt make it through any of it. So few things, firstly thank you all the teachers and assistance teachers this year wouldnt have happened without you girls. Thank you to my family who always help me with all the million things involved with a night like this and the other million things through the year. Thank you to the rec center. Thank you to the bmx club... for having an amazing menu i didnt get a chance to eat it til we got home but it was delicious. Thank you to the students. I get so emotional when i think of you guys. You work hard and it has been an honour to share my love of dance with you all. You guys are talented and wonderful people and im so glad to get to know all of you. What a wonderful final performace. 03.01.2022 Important Notice : Due to circumstances that are out of my control the manager at the Newman Rec Centre has denied us permission to hang the aerial hoops and silks. She is requesting a certificate from a structural engineer among other requirements. I have called everyone I can think of that might be able to help with this but unfortunately we do live in Newman and there are limited resources for us. I am completely devastated as we did just do this in June and there was no i...ssue then, so I can’t understand why it is an issue now. For the kids in these classes I feel the most for you. I know how hard you have all worked. Since we are unable to hold those classes at the Rec Centre these class will have their own showcase up at the studio for these students can still show what they have been working so hard on. I have attached the list of requirements in the hopes that someone out there might be just the person we need to help us. If you can help with any of these please get in touch with us. I know lots of kids that would be super greatful.
