Sunday 26 April - Sunday timetable Monday 27 April - Normal weekday timetable Monday 27 April - School Bus Services Term 2 Derwent Valley Link advise that as most of our school bus services operate to state schools and one or more private schools and with most private schools resuming from Monday 27th April, we have made the decision to resume all of our contracted school runs from this date. Passengers are reminded that the fares amnesty period has been extended by the state government until 31st May. Students will not be required to pay a fare until after this date. The Department of State Growth has announced that the free travel amnesty for everyone will end on 5 July. This means that from Monday 6 July, all passengers will be required to pay the appropriate fare for their travel. Students catching school bus services will also be able to travel for free until 31st May. Reducing cash transactions is one of the many ways we can work together to... stay safe on board. Further enhancements to Derwent Valley Link’s TransportMe ticketing system will be made in the coming weeks to enable access to smartcards for those passengers that do not have a smartphone or access to a computer. Please take notice as the vehicles start to have more passengers on them from 25th May. We ask that if you are not from the same household to social distance anytime it is possible on all buses and please leave the seat behind all drivers passenger free. Travel on public transport is exempt from restrictions on gatherings, so there can be mo...re than 10 people using a form of public transport. Passengers are encouraged to keep physically distancing in mind and choose a seat away from others where possible. Using Buses Anyone feeling unwell should avoid using public transport. For short trips, consider walking or cycling. Travel outside peak periods where possible. While waiting at bus stops, practice social distancing. Adults seeking to board a bus which has a high number of passengers are asked to consider waiting for the next service where available. This request does not apply to children. Practice good hand hygiene. If possible use hand sanitiser before and after catching the bus. Spread out on board as much as you can. Members of the same household and family groups can sit together. Avoid touching surfaces inside the bus whenever you can. Please comply with any requests from your bus driver. Contactless Bus Travel and Fare Amnesty To minimise person-to-person contact, public bus services across the state are currently provided free of charge. This includes general access and fare-charging school buses. A fare amnesty has been put in place until 31 May 2020 to allow all passengers time to adopt alternative payment options where available. Passengers without a smartcard should apply for one from their bus operator where available during this period and make arrangements to top up the credit on their card by electronic means. www.derwentvalleylink.com.au/transportme-smart-cards/ School Bus Arrangements for Term 2 School bus services to Government, Catholic and Independent schools are operating where the school is open to students. The continued operation of school bus services is being regularly reviewed based on Public Health advice and updates. The number of students using school buses will increase from 25 May as primary school and colleges resume on site learning. The Department of State Growth will monitor school bus demand and consider whether any changes to bus services are needed. Advice on school bus cleaning has been circulated to all contracted school bus operators in the state with new requirements for more regular cleaning of bus interiors. 19.01.2022 Benjamin Terrace - Temporary bus stop relocation O’Driscoll Coaches wish to advise the temporary relocation of the bus stop in Benjamin Terrace due to footpath renewal works commencing 26/2/2020. Our bus stop will be relocated 50m around the corner in Britten Street for the duration of the footpath renewal works.

13.01.2022 O’Driscoll Coaches - Derwent Valley Link wish to advise the following information: Monday 23 November The 3.19pm X22 service from Hobart has been delayed to a traffic accident and emergency service vehicles on the Brooker Highway. The service is approximately 20 minutes behind schedule heading towards New Norfolk.... The 4.29 pm X22 service from Fairview and New Norfolk will also be delayed by approximately 20 minutes.
