Warmed my heart to see juniors back on ground at our glorious Tynwald Park Thank you to the parents and players for an enjoyable sight, we appreciate your feedback to help us make it a smoother process next time. Thank you so much to our provider of sustenance Ive bean everywhere van, we definitely needed you! Thank you to the wonderful committee and delegates of Northern Suburbs Junior Soccer Association and Football Tasmania for... their invaluable help leading up to our first hosting. And lastly but not least a huge thank you to our own committee members and club helpers for getting it all done. We learnt a lot today on what works, what didn't and what needs tweaking but with 800+ people through the grounds over the morning I think we did a pretty good job We look forward to the challenge for our next turn to host in 3 weeks time See more

No shin pads, no game, no exceptions; please get to the grounds on time as games must start on time; if your child is unable to play please let your coach know ASAP; remember those big smiles, they are definitely a requirement Have masses of fun and dress warm!

17.01.2022 What a great weekend of football (soccer) in New Norfolk!! Our juniors are having so much fun learning new skills and supporting each other on the field but it's also so pleasing to see them making friends with and cheering on their opponents, their sportsmanship is impressive in ones so young! Hosting a round of the NSJSA roster is a big undertaking for the three clubs that host - New Norfolk, Brighton and Metro rotate the hosting duties this season - there are simply so man...y people it takes some serious help to ensure everything runs smoothly and our committee and other helpers are to be congratulated for putting in the effort required at our grounds. Big thank you to council employee Ricky Duggan for providing so much help this week, it made the day run much smoother for us. We are the only hosting club that does not have a clubrooms or canteen of any sort and any club knows that a canteen is a great way to raise funds. Bearing this in mind we applied for a local council grant to purchase a food van, unfortunately we were unsuccessful which is a big blow. So we set up a gazebo and made it happen anyway - it's not ideal, running a canteen out of a gazebo in the middle of winter is going to test our courage and resolve but we'll do it :) Today it was our seniors who turned it on in the valley, hosting DOSA in an intense battle that ended in a 3-3 draw. As usual after a home game the team headed to our sponsor The Valley Sports Bar to recap and look ahead at the final half of the roster, which includes another foray to Launceston to play another final of the Social Champions League in September. Tomorrow's games at Tynwald Park, please make sure you arrive at least 15 minutes before your game starts to make sure games start on time and please park sensibly so no-one is blocked in. 15.01.2022 A great weekend of soccer deserves a great weekend of weather Juniors are back at Metro Football Club, North Chigwell tomorrow - have masses of fun teams!! Please have a good look at the grounds map to see where you are playing and remember to be there on time as it is crucial that all games start on time. Please be super careful as there are lots of cars going in and out of the grounds. Big thanks to young SC4 player Casper Piskulas for his continued help with the junior t...eams, especially helping the U10 team while their coach recovers from a nasty injury. Our SC4 seniors team have a massive game ahead of them this weekend, we are currently sitting 3rd on the ladder and Sunday we face ladder leader Golden Gordons, a formidable opponent who we always enjoy playing. 03.01.2022 We get to host junior games this weekend as well as a seniors game on Sunday Here is a map of our junior grounds with field numbers so teams know which one they are on. We should have the gateway open for overflow parking but it will depend on the weather as it gets boggy when wet in there! We will have a parking attendant on site to help We will have a coffee/food van on site and an info table if you need help with anything. Please remember to check in using the QR codes...!! If you have the Checkin Tas app it is already preloaded with your info and so is a cinch to do. I will be taking photos and hopefully can get all the players in a snap. Please advise your NN friends that Tynwald is going to be a very busy place between 8.30am and 12.30pm Saturday with 54 teams and an estimated 800+ people through the gates . Sunday will be a much quieter affair in regards to the amount of games but just as exuberant in regards to spectator enjoyment!
