12.01.2022 Newport FC would like to announce Midhat Bey as our Under 18’s coach for their inaugural season in 2021. Midhat has been involved in local football in the west for many years; having spent time at the Wyndham Suns & Altona JFC in the past. He has been part of the Newport FC senior coaching staff since late 2018. I have always had a passion to coach my own team & I look forward to this exciting opportunity with the u18 boys at Newport.... We welcome Midhat, wish him the very best & look forward to watching the boys in action #AlwaysNewport

10.01.2022 It is with a heavy heart that we mourn the passing of a well known and much respected member from the wider Newport community, Ahmed El Hawli. Ahmed was the Father of Khaled ‘Banjo’ El Hawli & Sam El Hawli, both past coaches and players of our football club, and grandfather to several current players. He passed away yesterday after a long battle with Cancer. May he rest in peace - Allah Yerhamou

George has had a long association with Newport FC & is a life member; having played over 450 senior & junior games for the club. He has been involved in coaching local football in the west for many years; starting with Newport u16’s in 1994 and still going to this day....
