24.01.2022 The Redcliffe Framing Rum Race utilised a short course tailored for light breezes today. With an average of 6 knots the outcome was pleasing with all boats finishing within a few minutes of each other. Tanandra sailed well making good ground on the leg to Reef Point and went on to win. Huon Star took off on the downwind leg to finish second and third place was shared between Wight Dog and Showdown. 9 boats sailed.

24.01.2022 Audiology Trio are our nominated sponsors for the WAGS today. It started with light breezes up to 10 knots but filled in towards the end. Didn't the multihulls love that! 21.01.2022 This is the 3rd leg of the WAGS as the bulk of the fleet approach CR mark. The photo from Scamp who placed second shows Wight Dog (black sails) who challenged Scamp close to the finish in amongst the action. Play On was the first of the 15 boats sailing to finish. It doesn't get any better when all the boats that have started over a period of around 45 minutes finish together. WAGS at its best!

20.01.2022 Our Spirit of Christmas SAGS was a closely fought battle with 14 boats sailing. On the last leg up to 5 boats were in contention but it was Scamp, Showdown and Wings that crossed ahead of the pack.

18.01.2022 A funny old day on the water in the Sea Salt & Vine Cafe SAGS. 14 boats sailed in very light conditions with most pulling out as the NE breeze fell away. It was a long wait but finally a light westerly of 7 knots rewarded the 6 boats that persevered. Scamp and Summer Breeze were well positioned to get maximum advantage with Scamp going on to win. Summer Breeze was third. Forte who has been helming Pali Pali was most excited to win the Sea Salt & Vine Cafe voucher in the draw. Terrific progress on the clubhouse this week!

17.01.2022 Summer Breeze joined us in the Sea Salt & Vine Cafe SAGS. With a forecast of up to 25 knots most boats reefed down. 14.01.2022 We set this course for the WAGS as the forecast was for a drifter and we could shorten course at the second mark. The breeze kicked in to the advantage of those starting at the back. Suromage by a mile with Wight Dog second and Showdown third. 8 boats sailing.

13.01.2022 Our nominated sponsor for today is Dirty Boat Bottoms Although only 8 boats could sail, the interest was much higher with work commitments and sickness taking it's toll. Dave had kindly offered a free hull scrub to the winner and by 10 am we had 5 multis and no keelers logged on. It was looking like the guys from Dirty Boat Bottoms were going to have their work cut out! But then..... Showdown, Suromage and Serenity logged on. And.... The winner... Showdown! A great prize from a very professional organisation with proven results.
