19.01.2022 Overjoyed by the amount of support from our community during the 24hr Row for @oneeighty_inc @gotcha4life. Newport was incredibly proud to participate in the event contributing over $7.5k - the biggest contribution from any club. A massive THANKS to all those who donated and to the athletes who rowed (especially those through the night).

18.01.2022 Good luck to the mighty NSW team in today’s Interstate Championships. Special mention to our Newport contingent here - go gettem’ team!! #UpThePort #UpTheBlues

15.01.2022 We’re super excited to announce that we have officially launched an academy-wide mentorship program. The program is designed to support our younger athletes and grass roots to ensure we are maintaining our ‘be the best, enjoy it the most’ culture.

13.01.2022 For the 3rd consecutive year, the 24-hour row for Mental Health will be taking place across Australia and this time Newport Surf Life Saving Club is proud to be one of the hosting clubs for this amazing event. The 24-hour row raises awareness and funds for two not-for-profit organisations. The first, Gotcha 4 Life, was established to reverse the tide of declining mental health and to reduce suicide throughout Australia through education and workshops. The second organisation ...is One Eighty, a Northern Beaches established NFP. Their vision is a future free of youth suicide and are dedicated to taking action and having a positive outcome on mental health. So, from midday 22nd August midday 23rd of August 2020, we start rowing (indoor concept2 erg) and keep going for 24 consecutive hours. Feel like you can tackle an hour? Maybe you want to split it between mates? Anyway you decide, just get involved! Can’t make it that weekend? You can donate through individuals or the club! When: 22nd 23rd August Where: Newport Surf Life Saving Club Email [email protected] or [email protected] for time availabilities, registration help and donation enquiries. @ Newport, New South Wales, Australia
