25.01.2022 NetSetGo Tip Of The Week. Did you know that there are no borrowing restrictions with NetSetGo? You can borrow from other teams in your club, and you can also bo...rrow from other clubs. Don't let teams play short. Our priority is to give the players as much game time as we can so if you have a spare player and they are happy, please lend them out. NetSetGo players cannot play up in the junior competition. #mwna2021 #netsetgo #ilovewatchingyouplay

15.01.2022 Parents can help ensure the health and safety of umpires in the future by starting to educate their kids on showing and treating umpires with respect. Coaches,... players, parents, and spectators should never argue or dispute the decision of an umpire, make negative or derogatory remarks or gestures towards an umpire, or otherwise behave inappropriately to disturb the normal course of play in a game. Not only is this behaviour setting a bad example for players, it distracts the umpire, makes the coach’s job harder, and takes away from the enjoyment of the game. Remember, it’s only a game, and it’s important to set a good example of respecting the umpire for our young players. #mwna2021 #fortheloveofthegame #Netballumpires

15.01.2022 The events in Victoria over the past week and recent advice that known COVID-19 cases have visited NSW, shows we still need to be prepared to adapt to a change ...in our sport. If you have visited a known hotspot in the last 14 days please don't come to Netball. If you are showing any signs of cold or flu please stay home. Continue to check in with the QR codes available all around the courts and on the scoresheets. Contact tracing has proven to be invaluable in containing the spread. Make sure to social distance along the sideline and to assist us with monitoring numbers continue to wear your lanyards. Use the sanitising stations on entry and exit to the courts. Lets continue to keep everyone safe so that our sport is able to continue. #mwna2021 #wereallinthistogether #stayhomestaysafe

01.01.2022 It was bought to our attention yesterday that a couple of young Netballers were approached at John Fisher Park by a strange man and asked to come to his car. H...e tried to convince them that they knew him. This incident occurred a couple of weeks ago and MWNA were not informed of this incident at the time. MWNA would like to remind our Clubs and families to remain vigilant an both training and game days. Walk your children to and from the courts, to the toilets, canteen and bbq. If an incident does occur or you feel unsafe at anytime, please notify an MWNA official as soon as possible. Northern Beaches Police Area Command #mwna2021 ##strångerdanger
