Accompanied with Baked Zucchini, streamed broccoli with Ume Vinegar, lots of fried onions and a sauce made from Root Vegetables and miso and lime to be squeezed over zucchini and Broccoli.... Absolutely Delicious!! Contraction is the key to this time of year, eliminating waste and filling yourself with mineral filled food. With Movement (Yoga) and getting your Core, Lung and large Intestine function going, the key organs of this time of year to help you eliminate and get rid of the things we would like to discard, to absorb the good into our lives, into our bloodstream. These types of food will have you keeping well for this Winter. Start NOW !!! This meal has all that you need at this time of year. Grain, Root Vegetables, seaweed, vinegar, steamed vegetables lots of different methods of cooking is good. Gomasio full of Calcium, iron in seaweed, B vitamins. 17.01.2022 Autumn/ Winter Food inspiration Sunday night was Pie night. Adzuki Bean and Pumpkin Pie. As the season starts to bring the cooler weather to us naturally, we can start nourishing ourselves with some hardier type food.... Adzuki bean and pumpkin is a wonderful food to nourish the spleen. Adzuki bean being a wonderful protein and great for the kidneys and the sweetness of the pumpkin together is what the spleen loves. The remainder of the Adzuki beans I then made into an Adzuki bean soup which is what will feed the kidneys just a small bowl is like Gold for the kidneys. It’s a great idea to start nourishing yourself now for the colder months. Bringing a lovely warmth to the belly so your internal furnace keeps you warm. However we need to remember over eating can put the belly furnace out. Ingredients Of this pie can also accompany brown rice and steamed greens. This tasty filling for the people who have partners family members whom still love their meat your biggest meat eaters will love it, it’s a great alternative for them.
