Principals Ilana Freadman and Michael White have designed a contemporary, highly considered piece of architecture that will add a sculptured, imaginative project to the Docklands skyline. While usually working from their boutique practice in North Melbourne, we cant help but appreciate the stunning backdrop of their beautiful Tasmanian studio while working remotely.

This exhibition acknowledges that many people have recently lost all of their precious mementos to the recent bushfires and is a collective offering of comfort. From 11am to 4pm this weekend, head down to this free exhibition at Magnet Galleries Melbourne with donations helping to the CWA Emergency Fund to help support women and their families recover in the aftermath of the recent bushfires.

02.01.2022 Over the past few weeks MAB, Six Degrees Architects and L.U. Simon Builders have been putting the finishing touches on Escala NewQuay in the lead up to construction. This includes design specific elements and materials, such as the St Mangos Lane façade breeze blocks and Six Degrees signature leadlighting throughout the building. The leadlighting, which forms part of Escalas decorative façade, will be brought to life by artist Simon OBrien, along with several local Victorian fabricators. Early site works will commence this week, so stay tuned for regular updates and time-lapse photography!
