13.01.2022 Jock Alexander's Holden station wagon illo, published in The Oz in August 1999, has been sold. Sorry to those who were mulling it over... There are about 50 hand-drawn and painted illustrations for sale from Jock and four other award-winning Fairfax and News Limited artists - Michael Fitzjames, Sturt Krygsman, Kerrie Leishman and Ward O'Neill - at my new online gallery illo.net.au. It wasn't easy prising these pieces from my former colleagues, so do get in while the going's g...ood. I was sent a photo of Ward O'Neill's Christopher Hitchens illustration, which sold recently, framed and hanging on a wall in Sydney and it looks splendid. If money's too tight to mention you're most welcome to have a browse and enjoy the art.

09.01.2022 This pencil and ink illustration of Queen Elizabeth II and Peter Hollingworth by Ward O'Neill was drawn on February 28, 2002, the day after Hollingworth - the Australian Governor-General at the time - had met the Queen in Adelaide. It was published in the Australian Financial Review on March 2, 2002. Hollingworth was under pressure to resign at the time, and ultimately quit a little over a year later. This piece represents a significant moment in Australian history. Measure...s 35cm x 28cm (not including artist's notes in border). A greater conversation starter for your home or office, and a rare opportunity to own an original Ward O'Neill illustration. https://www.illo.net.au//the-queen-and-peter-hollingsworth Ward O'Neill The British Royal Family
