25.01.2022 Notre Dame Newsspeak had a great Q & A session today with Dr Rahul Gairola who spoke about his time as a journalist in the USA. Another example of education mentors inspiring us students with their life and academic experience in our field of media.

25.01.2022 An opportunity with Fremantle's Sculpture at Bathers 2022! Exhibition coordinator, Liz Cartell has said: "We would be keen to investigate if we might be able to create an opportunity to support a work placement component of their studies as we work towards delivering the exhibition in 2022.... "We are also pleased to announce, due to a recent RISE Federal Government funding award, we are seeking a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to assist our team. Details of this contract position are attached and we would greatly appreciate it if you could spread the word to your former students and recent graduates. Here are the details ; Recent journalism alumni and current students working in the industry will be imparting some of their sage advice! We’ll be hosting a panel for them to speak about how they transitioned from being student journalists, like many of you, to working in professional newsrooms.... And yes we will be kicking on. RTRFM is a community radio station and relies on the efforts of 350+ volunteers who present the news and talks programming, as well as our music shows. We aim to reciprocate by providing volunteers with professional experience and networking opportunities. Please see the attached prospectus outlining the employment outcomes of our volunteers in 2020. We're specifically seeking student journalists who can write an...d report News bulletins on the air in the following slots: Monday 6am - 9am, Wednesday 9am - 12ap, Thursday 6am - 12pm and Friday 6am - 12pm.
