Surround yourself with people who make you smile, laugh and want to get the most out of life. People on the same mission as you will want to see you succeed and help you stay motivated. Those who dont can drag you off course fast, only picking up their bad habit...s along the way. Know your goal, know your tribe and make sure the two stay congruent Happy Monday xx

19.01.2022 Fish do what in water Ok it may not always be the most appealing drink but as it heats up, how much water should you really be drinking if you exercise ? General rule of thumb: Before; ... 1-2 hours before you workout, roughly 440-690ml. Durning; roughly 230-290ml every 15 minutes. After; Roughly 200-400ml in the first hour post exercise (This can be increased and decreased based on climate, caffeine intake and body toxicity). Can you drink too much water? Of course Its possible to drink too much, but difficult to do. There is a condition called hyponatremia, where the blood becomes excessively diluted and sodium levels drop too low, but to do this you would need to drink gallons of water. Staying hydrated is import for most bodily functions, the main one: sustaining life, so, you know, might be worth considering Enjoy

18.01.2022 Easy treat for those hot summer days I picked up the iceblock moulds at Kmart last summer. (How goods the music though ) Ingredients; - 1 lime... - 250ml coconut milk - Hand full of blueberries - 1 kiwi fruit - 1/2 mango Instructions; 1. Juice lime and mix with coconut milk (only use half a lime if you dont like sour foods). 2. Chop kiwi fruit and mango into small pieces. 3. Add fruit to the moulds, can be mixed together. 4. Pour coconut milk mix in the moulds and add a few more pieces of fruit. 5. Seal the moulds with the tops/stick. 6. Freeze overnight and enjoy :) Tip if you take them out of the freezer let them sit for 60 seconds to pullout clean

"My name is Georgia Hartley and I had trained with Nathan at Newstage Personal Training for about a year and three months. I used to be pretty active and quite fit, however due to injury I was unable to keep up my usual routine and fell into bad habits and gained weight. I had been trying to get back into exerci...se but was lacking motivation, I needed that push to keep me going. I had tried a few different gyms, bootcamps and even a personal trainer or two. Thats when I was introduced to Nathan. Right from the start I was comfortable around him and from what Ive experienced, his training routines were second to none. The fact that he took the time and effort to create a personalised routine made me feel like he was really invested in my training and what I aimed to achieve at the gym. I absolutely loved every session and couldnt believe how far I was actually able to push myself. The first few sessions with Nathan were brutal but so rewarding, two sessions a week left my muscles sore and my body buggered but I loved it. Something about Nathan made me want to keep coming back for more. When I first started out training with Nathan I was 94kgs, since then I have lost 20kgs and feel better than I could have ever imagined. Ive gotten back into playing sport and now I try and train at least 5 days a week at the gym. My fitness has improved dramatically and Ive smashed more goals than I thought I was capable of doing. I feel amazing going to the gym and doing my routines by myself now whereas before I was lacking the knowledge and confidence to walk into the gym and pick up those weights alone. I would highly recommend Nathan at Newstage Personal Training to anyone that is looking to lose weight or improve fitness but doesnt know where to start. Nathan is your go to guy to work up a sweat with and help you smash your goals. I cant thank Nathan enough for the time and effort he has put in to help me on my weightloss and fitness journey." 15.01.2022 Thai beef salad for lunch ? Ingredients; - 200g rump steak. - Mixed salad leaves ( I used rocket and baby spinach). - 1/3 Spanish onion, sliced thinly. - 1 red chilli, sliced thinly.... - 1 cucumber, julienned. - 1/2 Red capsicum, julienned. - Cherry tomatoes, cut in quarters. - Black pepper (to taste) - Tablespoon Fish sauce. - 1/2 table spoon of honey. - 1 lime juiced Instructions; 1. In a bowl mix fish sauce, honey and lime juice. 2. Add rump to bowl and marinated room temperature for 5 minutes, turning twice. 3. Pre heat pan to medium heat and cook steak for 2-3 minutes either side, or to your liking . 4. Chop and mix salad,transfers to plate. 5. When steak is cooked, slice then transfers to plate. 11.01.2022 Whats for lunch tomorrow? Chilli chicken pocket Ingredients: - 100g chicken tenderloins (cut into inch pieces) ... - 1 teaspoon chilli powder - 1 table spoon of coconut oil (liquid form) - 1/2 lemon - 1/2 avocado (mashed) - 1 carrot (grated) - Tomato (diced) - Handful of rocket (torn in hands) - 1 zucchini (grated) - Wholemeal pocket Instructions : 1. In a bowl mix your, grated carrot, zucchini with the diced tomato and rocket. Squeeze 1/2 a lemon over the top, mix with hands and let rest. 2. Place your cut chicken tenderloins and coconut oil into a plastic bag, tie it together then shake the bag. Open the bag back up and add 1 teaspoon of chilli powder to the bag, reseal then shake again. 3. Microwave your wholemeal pocket as per instructions on pack, then smear mashed avocado to the inside of the pocket. 4. Preheat a pan to a medium heat, add chicken tenderloins the the pan and cook for roughly 3-4 minutes per side (or until cooked). Remove from the pan and let cool slightly 5. Add salad mix to the inside if the pockets, then poke chicken tenderloins inside and enjoy. #chicken #chilli #pocket #lunch #newstagept #healthyfood #avocado #whatsforlunch

08.01.2022 Kick your sweet tooth cravings with these Choc Nut Protein Balls Ingredients;... - 1 Ripe Banana - 1 tbs Cocoa powder - 2 tbs natural peanut butter - 2 tbs vanilla protein powder - 3/4 cup of oats Instructions; 1. Mash banana in a medium bowl using a fork. 2. Add and Mix all of the other ingredients except the oats and mix thoroughly. 3. Then add oats to the mix and combine together 4. Mould the mix into balls using 2 teaspoons and place on a tray lined with wax paper. 5. Place the tray in the fridge for 30 minutes to harden, then enjoy. Recipe makes 12 balls

08.01.2022 With everyone getting sick lately, other than eating a bag of oranges heres something you may want to try -1 large pink grapefruit, peeled, seeded and cut into chunks. -1/2 cup (125 g) crushed pineapple, canned or fresh. -1/2 cup (125 g) fresh or frozen strawberries. -1/2 cup (125 ml) non-fat Greek yogurt. -1 Tbsp Wheat germ -2 Tbsp quinoa.... -100ml coconut water Blend them all together on high for 60 seconds and enjoy Heres why this shake will help your immune system; #pineapple , #grapefruit and #strawberries are all high in vitamin C, both pineapple and strawberries actually have more vitamin C than oranges. #greekyogurt is packed with probiotics that aid in gut health, it is also high in B12. Wheat germ is high in vitamin E, fiber and zinc. #quiona is packed with magnesium, iron and b2 as well as protein. Sweet potato shepherds pie Serves 4 Ingredients: - 1 medium head broccoli (cut into florets)... - 1 brown onion (diced) - 1 clove of garlic (minced) - 2 tins of diced tomatoes - 1 table spoon canola oil - 500g lean lamb mince - 2 medium sweet potatoes (mashed) Instructions 1. Preheat a pan on high, add oil, garlic and chopped onions, cook until onions are clear(roughly 3 minutes) 2. Add mince to pan and brown, then add tomatoes and broccoli florets 3. Cook for another 10 minutes, until the mix thickens 4. Add mince mix to a baking dish then add your sweet mash potatoes to the top 5. Place dish into a pre headed oven (180 degrees) and cook for a further 10 minutes 6. Serve and enjoy Calories/ macros per serve Protein: 28g Carbs: 20.5g Fats: 8.5 Calories: 276
