12.01.2022 It’s a sad day but the organising committee have made the difficult decision to cancel Newstead Live 2021. The health, safety and well-being of local residents, musicians, guests and attendees is at the forefront of the decision. We’re disappointed and we know many of you will be too but as the adverts say ‘staying apart keeps us together’. Stay safe

11.01.2022 Hi music loving friends, here is the link to another series of great live (digital) concerts for you to tune in to. Ange started this last week and we all loved it so much that it is now a regular weekly thing. Ange performed at Newstead Live in 2015 and I have met her a few times at varies venues over the years (she is also an amazing author - check out The Buffalo Funeral!). So tune in and get your fill of folk music this and every Sunday!

04.01.2022 In normal times, our performer applications would be open as of today. We will decide by the end of July whether to go ahead with planning for the the 2021 festival. If we do decide to go ahead, performer applications will open online on August 1st. Stay safe and sane, everybody.
