The Birdsville Hotel, which last changed hands in 1980, is expected to attract international as well as local interest. Built in 1884, the pub is steeped in history and entrenched as a tourist destination.

For every ticket sold The Jindalee is donating $3.00 & a raffle will be available with proceeds going to the Farmers. The John Fegan Band are donating their performance fee, and ALL ticket sales will be donated. CCC will also match $ for $ all donations received, up to $5000. 10.01.2022 #BREAKING: A Stop Order has been issued by the State Government for the Broadway Hotel to pre-empt any move to demolish the heritage-listed building. In case you missed the news, the Woolloongabba building was badly damaged in a fire last weekend.

We're on the hunt for old pics and memorabilia for a documentary about Landsborough's history, including: Landsbor...ough Railway Refreshment Rooms: early 1900s til 1976. Landsborough Post Office and Telegraph at the Railway Station. Watson’s flatbed truck that operated around Landsborough and Maleny from the 50s-70s carting school kids to sports at Glass House Mountains. Landsborough school sports days before 1970s held at Glass House Mountains. The small council-owned hut that was rented around the 1950s on the edge of the sports field (Old Gympie Road near the roundabout). Let our Cultural Heritage team know at our Caloundra office or email your pics and details to [email protected] by 5pm on 30 April. The documentary will explore community stories, history and significant events of Landsborough, as told by locals, and will be used by the Landsborough Place Making project.
