19.01.2022 As of this Sunday, Newtown Baptist will be resuming our physical gatherings! We are incredibly grateful to God for his mercy over the past months and we look forward to joining together again in person to be built up in his Word and to praise his name. If you would like to join us you would be very welcome. Our regular service is at 10:30am, every Sunday.... Please note that while restrictions are easing, the following government requirements are in place: - All who attend will be required to give their contact details to be stored for 4 weeks and passed on to the relevant health authorities in the case of a Covid-19 infection. - We are limited to 50 attendees (though we expect that there will be room for all who would like to join us). - Those who are experiencing symptoms of Covid-19 are asked not to join us physically (though please get in touch to find out how you can join via Zoom). - Attenders will be asked to socially distance and practice good hygiene.

18.01.2022 A photo from before social distancing as we farewelled our sister Gloria. It was encouraging to hear of the blessing she has experienced among us and to hear people share how God has used Gloria to bless us. Praying that she settles in well and continues to faithfully serve God in Brisbane.

16.01.2022 While going through the book of Exodus at the 6pm service, we have been reminded of God's great mercy and grace to us as His people. That, rather than giving us over to the sinful desires of our hearts (c.f. Romans 1:18-32), He has saved us, giving us Christ and His righteousness (c.f. Romans 3:19-26). Our God is a God who saves!

15.01.2022 Friends, this is a general reminder that our mid-week Bible Study has been moved from Tuesday to Wednesday. Please join us tonight as we look at Paul's letter to the Colossians!

14.01.2022 Bible study won't be taking place tonight, as the men will be going together to Moore College to hear Os Guinness speak on "Christian freedom and the illusions of contemporary freedom". Please join us on Sunday at 10:30am (prayer at 9:30am) or 6pm (prayer at 5:30pm) for our weekly services :)

09.01.2022 Christmas is fast approaching! Please join us as we remember and celebrate the birth of Jesus, God's chosen King and Saviour. "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace" (Isaiah 9:6). Carols on December 22nd @ 6pm, Christmas Day service @ 9:30pm.... All welcome!
