24.01.2022 Calling all YG players born from 2006 - 2009! The Newtown Swans are running training sessions for girls keen to register for the Youth Girls Open Assessment trials - come and get training tailored to their focus. Planned session 5.30pm to 6.45pm on: Thursday 8 October... Monday 12 October Thursday 15 October Must get enough keen kids to keep training sessions going. 22.01.2022 Huge shout out to Dan Kelly and his willing assistants Sam Willard and Heather Prentice for the incredible effort creating a Junior Club Gala at ADO last Saturday. Thanks also to the Canteen Team Kirstin and Wes and all the volunteers. Special mention to Vincent and Donnie for umpiring in 6 games in a row in the sun & humidity. Great model for club engagement - love ya work and so did the kids ... too much footy is never enough!! See you all back on the paddock in 2021.

08.01.2022 Further to the NSW Health updated restrictions for schools and community sport through the week - please remember that we need to: - Have good hand hygiene - sanitise before going onto the field - Check in to ground upon arrival - use QR codes near canteen - Cease face to face social activities, for example post-training or post-match group dinners or awards functions get in, play, get out... - Avoid car pooling or bus travel with people from different household groups where possible - Minimise spectators - one parent per player Good luck to all this weekend - we'll provide updates if any next week.
