25.01.2022 How can a three-pound mass of jelly that you can hold in your palm imagine angels, contemplate the meaning of infinity, and even question its own place in the cosmos? Especially awe inspiring is the fact that any single brain, including yours, is made up of atoms that were forged in the hearts of countless, far-flung stars billions of years ago. These particles drifted for eons and light-years until gravity and change brought them together here, now. ... These atoms now form a conglomerate- your brain- that can not only ponder the very stars that gave it birth but can also think about its own ability to think and wonder about its own ability to wonder. With the arrival of humans, it has been said, the universe has suddenly become conscious of itself. This, truly, it the greatest mystery of all. - V.S. Ramachandran

22.01.2022 Lean in and sit in the light of the Men and Women you know... we need to develop intimacy, getting together is very powerful and the only way to experience it is to be in the presence of others in person.
20.01.2022 4 Great questions; Why does it matter? How does it help others? Does what I do make a difference? Have I lived well?... The kindest people are those who wear their scars with dignity, they are the ones who have suffered but still smile. Those who lost everything but still sacrifice selflessly and who were mistreated but remain polite. Those who were pushed away but still listen with ears of tolerance. Those who were disappointed but still continue to show a heart full of love. Those who see through eyes of compassion speak through their hearts with love and kindness. Those who turn inwardly realise that action performed in service is the golden path towards the True Self and preserve the essence of life. These are people who went through a hard time finding out what matters, and often they are the most beautiful people. These are the transformative great contemplative people who strive for happiness and clarity.
17.01.2022 The most important relationship we can all have is the one you have with yourself, the most important journey you can take is one of self-discovery. To know yourself, you must spend time with yourself, you must not be afraid to be alone. Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.
15.01.2022 "In South Australia, for example, Aboriginal groups long shared oral tales of the variable brightness of the star Betelgeuse. It is a widely held belief in astronomy circles that the phenomenon was first discovered by Sir John Herschel in 1836 despite the fact that Indigenous people noticed it, along with the variability of other stars, 1,000 years earlier ..."
15.01.2022 I asked an elderly man once what it was like to be old and to know the majority of his life was behind him. He told me that he has been the same age his entire life. He said the voice inside of his head had never aged. He has always just been the same boy. His mother's son. He had always wondered when he would grow up and be an old man. He said he watched his body age and his faculties dull but the person he is inside never got tired. Never aged. Never changed. Our spirits are eternal. Our souls are forever. The next time you encounter an elderly person, look at them and know they are still a child, just as you are still a child and children will always need love, attention and purpose.
14.01.2022 He was a poet first, of course. Bly made his debut in 1962 with Silence in the Snowy Fields and won the National Book Award for The Light Around the Body in 1967. The titles alone give a good sense of Bly’s sensibility. It’s fair to call him an anti-modernist. In 1963 he published an essay, A Wrong Turning in American Poetry, attacking T.S. Eliot, Ezra Pound, Marianne Moore, and William Carlos Williams for promulgating a poetry drained of personality, which he believed redu...ced it to the practice of sociology. True freshness and surprise are impossible, Bly wrote. The poet’s eyes are not on the impulse, but are constantly looking over the public world for reliable sets of objects. Finally the poet’s own mind becomes objective; he becomes the public. To Bly, this was a fraud, and he preferred the more impulsive and intimate forces he saw at work in Spanish-language poets like Pablo Neruda and Federico Garcia Lorca. See more
13.01.2022 There was a snake that crawled over a sharp saw and was cut. In anger the snaked wrapped the saw with its thick body and proceeded to squeeze the life out of the saw. With each angry squeeze it felt more pain but continued because it wasn’t going to let the saw get away with the pain it caused it. The snake, refusing to let go of the saw, eventually died; not knowing the whole time, he needed to let go of the initial pain and focus on its future and where it was going. Inst...ead, the snake, unfortunately, lost its life and didn’t even see it coming. Control your anger, and don’t give people and things power over you. It can ultimately kill you.
10.01.2022 Your mind will always believe everything you tell it. Feed it hope, Feed it compassion, Feed it truth.
09.01.2022 In is arduous time it can easy to feel overwhelmed by the cascade of crises affecting most levels of nature and culture. We can feel painfully isolated and dangerously divided as a people. There can seem to be nowhere to turn for genuine refuge, but each of us carries an inner connection to the inherited treasure of mankind’s soul, which includes surprising resources, profound capacities for creation and enduring instincts for survival. Although the little self can be toug...h and fearful, full with anxiety and isolation, the soul remains undaunted; It seeks freedom and lasting transformation as well as a renewal of the world. At the end of the first half and as we go through to ensure our journey we enter the second half of life. We shall view each dilemma and troubling obstacle as a threshold through which the hidden inheritance of our pains and challenges offering a greater sense of community entering the world through us. When the outside world rattles with trouble and ruptures with uncertainty, it is time to draw upon the deep resources of the soul that include the powers of imagination, the inner treasury of ideas and the archetypal energies that can bring forth deep capacities to heal and make life whole and truly meaningful again.

03.01.2022 Back in 1982, I (8yo) watched Augra, in The Dark Crystal, profess the great conjunction . This movie event changed the way I looked at the world and now well, it’s almost here. Great Conjunction Global Gathering On the Solstice, December 21, 2020 we will experience a huge cosmic event called, The Great Conjunction. ... This refers to Jupiter, (the planet of expansion) and Saturn, (the planet of structure) both at 0 degrees in Aquarius... The sign of the new age, the 2000 year cosmic cycle of oneness, expanded consciousness, equality, social reform and free energy. This is the closest Great Conjunction since 1623. In the the movie, when a sun shone down the shaft of the Crystal, all life on Thra could feel the trembling from the Crystal. The Crystal sings quietly at the lesser conjunctions of the two Suns; but at the Great Conjunction, the song of the Crystal resounded through all the rocks of Thra. Be part of this celebration as we gather in the one heart of all that is to collectively birth this new dawn and the end of tyranny. The Great Conjunction is the end of the world...or the beginning. End, begin. All the same! Big change! Sometimes good, sometimes bad! - AUGHRA BLESSED BE...
03.01.2022 Because certain thoughts, feelings, or situations can bring up uncomfortable PTSD symptoms, such as memories of a traumatic event or feelings of being on edge and anxious, one way of coping with these symptoms is by increasing your awareness of these triggers. The more strategies you have available to you, the better off you will be in managing your triggers. In addition, the more coping strategies you have, the more likely you will be able to prevent the development of unhealthy coping strategies.
