Jumped nicely and mustered to the lead to go on and win by nearly 9 lengths and ran 25.08 equaling the track record. 18.01.2022 Lauren and I would like to thank everyone for their kind words and support for our boy Shadow Mist last night in the big one at Wentworth park. He did everything right early and just had no luck at the first turn and hit the rail down the back when he dropped back loosing all momentum. He has pulled up well which is the main thing as always. We made a decision with the owners a number of weeks ago that we would have a crack at this race and we have no regrets whatsoever. We are very proud to have made the race and whilst the week has been crazy busy we wouldn’t have changed anything. Thanks again what an experience a massive thanks to our amazing friends Shaun and Kayla for allowing us to kennel sooty at their home and being an amazing support to Lauren whilst she was staying there .. I’m forever grateful
