21.01.2022 Are you missing our wood-fired pizza? So are we! Never fear our Exec Chef has shared his top recipe for pizza bases, youll just need to add your fav toppings INGREDIENTS: - 500g bakers white bread flour - 0.5 teaspoon fine sea salt... - 1.5 teaspoon dried yeast - 1 tablespoon maple syrup METHOD: 1. For the dough, place flour & salt onto a clean surface and make a well in the centre. 2. Add the yeast & maple syrup to 325ml lukewarm water, mix together and leave for a few minutes, then pour into the well. 3. Using a fork and a circular movement, slowly bring in the flour from the inner edge of the well and mix into the water. Continue to mix, bringing in all the flour when the dough comes together and becomes too hard to mix with your fork, flour your hands and begin to pat it into a ball. 4. Knead the dough by rolling it backwards and forwards, using your hands to stretch, pull and push the dough. Keep kneading for 10 minutes, or until you have a smooth, springy, soft dough. 5. Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover with clingfilm and leave in a warm place to to prove for 45 minutes, or until doubled in size. 6. Divide the dough into 4 equal balls. Dust a clean surface and the dough with a little flour and roll it out into a rough circle, about cm thick. 7. Add your toppings & bake for 10mins in a preheated oven at 250C. Tag us in your creations!

06.01.2022 Our Nihon Caprese is easy peasy to make & it makes a great side for a few people or as an entree for two people... Heres the recipe! . ---- INGREDIENTS ---- Vine ripened tomatoes 2ea Cherry tomatoes 125g ... Silken tofu 125g Fresh basil 2 sprigs . ---- INGREDIENTS (DRESSING) ---- Red wine vinegar 100ml Dijon mustard 15g Extra virgin olive oil 200ml S&P (to taste) . ---- METHOD ---- First things first whip up the salad itself. Drain the liquid that the tofu may have been stored in. and then roughly chop it. For a more rustic look you can use your hands to tear it into chunky pieces. Place it in your serving dish or bowl. . Move onto the tomatoes quarter the cherry & Roma tomatoes, place them in the bowl with the tofu. Now pick all the leaves off the basil (be gentle with them), and place them in the bowl as well. . To prepare the dressing: Add the vinegar & Dijon into a bowl. Add the olive oil to a measuring jug. Next, using either a stick blender or a whisk, blend the vinegar & Dijon mustard. Continue mixing while slowly pouring in the oil. Once the oil & vinegar have completely emulsified, taste & season with salt and pepper to your desired flavour. . Pour the dressing over your tofu, basil & tomato then toss until the dressing completely covers everything. Your salad is now ready to eat! #yumyum #getinmybelly See more
