17.02.2022 It was a very hectic year for the team last year, we had alot of challenges with supply issues hindering our projects, as has everyone in the building industry This trends seems set to spill into this year for some time, but we are working to clear the backlog and push forward in the new year. We were a little slack on keeping up our Facebook with the craziness of last year, so here is a little taste of some of the projects we completed towards the end of last year ... 25.01.2022 According to Stramit in Townsville... This could be one of the first kit sheds fully constructed out of ZAM purlins. Recently completed in the Brandon area, this 15m x 8m x 4.5m ProSpan Shed features ZAM purlins throughout and fully hot dipped galvanized bracketry, bracing and fixings. The client had previously purchased a Solar Stand from NextGen and was so impressed with the quality of the ZAM purlins, he opted for the same for his shed. The client is a firm believer in not having to do maintenance on his sheds, we are confident he won't have to.

23.01.2022 Now this one is some shed jelousy. How about this huge 28 x 12 x 5.7m high skillion Universal beam shed we recently completed for Frank at Catalano Farming in Brandon. Frank has been a absolute pleasure to deal with throught the whole process of this build, and he has had nothing but good words to say about NextGen and our team. From the as always top shelf fabrication on the shed frame by Vass Engineering, to the service from the NextGen team and the high quality of workma...nship on the final build by Fallon Constructions, Frank has had nothing but praise. 23.01.2022 One of our recently competed 108 Panel -39.9kW Double Solar Stands. This impressive structure comes in at around 55.5m in length and is perfect for those long East-West locations. This structure is fully engineered, cyclone rated and council approved as is required in the Burdekin region. 22.01.2022 Here is a 6.5m x 6.5m Attached shade awning and concrete area we completed for the Home Hill State High School over the school holiday period. We are extremely grateful to the P&C association who opted to support our local business for this project, as a former student I’m very proud to have been given the opportunity. 22.01.2022 "A really nice and strong looking shed." That's what we aim to build! A 10m x 7.5m x 3.5m shed recently built in Ayr by ProSpan Sheds. The clients weren't sure on colours, so we whipped out the swatch book we take to site and client meetings and selected colours that work with the aesthetics of their preexisting house. From all accounts the clients couldn't be happier.

21.01.2022 I was driving around the other day and noticed something couldn't help get but get a snap of. It was one of our competitions solar frames that have popped up around town. Notice on the top photo how the solar panel is installed perfectly center over the framework clamping zones? This is one of our Solar Stands. Then look at the bottom photo and notice how the panel has been installed significantly out of position in one direction?? This is a big NO NO in solar panel installa...tion, installing like this will create a weak point in the panel and more than likely lead to failure of that connection or panel in a cyclone . The reason the panel has been installed like this is that the competitions frame has been designed once, for one size panel. Now they have changed the panel they are using and neglected to adapt their frame to suit for the client. Since starting our business and designing our first solar stands we have seen multiple changes in solar panel sizes and design. Over the course of the last few years, we have spent tens of thousands of dollars on Solar Stand engineering and development to ensure we meet all requirements for the ever-evolving solar panels design. Each panel has strict guidelines set out by the manufacturer for correct installation position. As a result, we now have over 20 different adaptions of our design and we ensure that every single Solar Stand we sell has been designed to suit the exact panel that the particular solar company is utilizing. I could go on all day about other reasons to choose a correctly designed solar mounting structure, but I’ll leave it at that for you to think about today. 20.01.2022 Check this absolute beauty out. We may be a little biased but doesn’t this bold colored shed look great? We recently completed this 8m x 9m x 4m high shed at Forest Beach. Complete with huge 3.5m x 3.5m chain drive roller doors for boat access. The boys from KSO Constructions put in a huge effort to get this one done between the ridiculous Ingham rain schedule. Thanks boys!! And just remember, 100% NextGen’s structures are independent checked, by a REPQ qualified engineer, on a site by site basis. Unlike most franchises who have instant computerized engineering...Who’s structure would you trust most in a cyclone?!

19.01.2022 Here are a couple of snaps of a recently completed project for the Home Hill State High School. The new shade area was a P&C initiated project which utilized help from Cancer Council grants to provide shaded areas for schools. I found this project quite close to home, as this seating area was one frequented in my younger years at Home Hill High. It was an honor to be apart of creating this great new seating area for future kids to enjoy

11.01.2022 It’s been a busy few months for NextGen Transport between grain harvest, general cartage and ProSpan shed deliveries. This frame for a new shed was delivered to site last week and is currently under construction. Having a forklift on the truck definitely comes in handy. Keep an eye out for photos of the end product.

08.01.2022 We showcased this shed last week, but with so many extra things that make this shed special, I wanted to point out a few of these features. The client Frank has had some issues with corrosion on his existing shed, so he opted for a few extra features on this build to ensure the longevity of his building. These features include, hot dipped galvanized universal beam frame, bracing and all bolt & screws throughout the shed. That’s right, no cheap zinc plated bolts or bracing t...o corrode away early here. The shed also features Stramit’s superior quality ZAM coated purlins, these purlins are designed to withstand oceanfront conditions without corroding. The shed is then fully cladded with thicker style 0.48BMT Colorbond sheeting. With these upgrades Frank can expect to see and very significant increase in the life of this building, without the need for early maintenance. This 21m x 12m x 6m high skillion farm shed was recently completed using a hot-dipped galvanised universal beam frame with ZAM coated fascia purlins to slow corrosion. 05.01.2022 Here’s a great little compilation of progressions shots from a recent local build we completed. We were stoked with how this 30m x 13.5m Universal Beam roof structure turned out, fully designed and drawn in house at NextGen with the beams and posts fabricated locally at @vass_engineering. Talk about keeping it local!! This structure has created a huge amount of useable space for the client, creating a great new undercover loading area for their fresh Organic Fruit & Veggies.
