23.01.2022 - Sulphate-free shampoo and conditioner is a must! Whether it’s the first wash after your appointment or the tenth, it is essential to use a sulphate-free shampoo and conditioner for colour-treated hair. Sodium laureth ether sulphate is a common ingredient found in the majority of ordinary shampoos that helps to create the lather we are so familiar with. A harsh ...detergent, it can strip your hair of colour and its natural oils and moisture pretty fast. If you want to sport your new hair colour for as long as possible, try using a sulphate-free shampoo and conditioner such as Kérastase’s Reflection Bain Chromatique Shampoo and Reflection Fondant Chromatique Conditioner to prolong and preserve colour radiance. 18.01.2022 From one of our team members @mitchellleighparks I have a real Soft spot for for my older clients I don’t know exactly why it’s the case, but I’ve always had a special affection for them. Sure they can be fussy and give me hard time when are you getting married and having kids, Mitchell hahah but adore the opportunity.... You can ask @thehappyemployee . It’s almost embarrassing how much I enjoy talking to the older people on our morning walks. I love to hear their stories. I love to find out who they really are, where they’ve been, and what makes them who they’ve become. Most of them love to share. Shelia turned 73 last week and I had the privilege of looking after her for her birthday. She even brought in her old study books to show me she wasn’t pulling my leg about her job been a shorthand writer. I didn’t even know it was a thing

15.01.2022 - Keep up with Haircuts If you haven’t been having your hair trimmed regularly, now is a good time to start. Your ends are much more prone to splitting after colouring, so you must be sure to trim your hair every 68 weeks or sooner depending on how it grows to maintain its health and keep your colour looking as fresh as you can. ... #modernsalon #hairbrained #saloneducation #behindthechair #hair #salonlife #hairstyle #haircolorists #haircolor #hairtutorials #hairtrends #beautifulhair #hairpainting #bayalage #hairdresser #style #ombre #balayage #haireducation #hairoftheday #goldcoastsalon #nextinternationalhair See more

07.01.2022 - Don’t wash your hair every day Washing even uncoloured hair excessively isn’t a great idea, but after you’ve had it colour treated, this applies more so. As well as washing away your natural oils that our scalps produce to keep hair healthy, it’s likely you will be washing away your hair dye much quicker also. If you want to see your bright colours last, try to keep it to 23 times a week.
