25.01.2022 Hope you had a Next Level Sunday! What do you know about 'easy read'? Easy read is perfect for communicating with people who aren't strong readers.... With the addition of pictures to support your message, easy read is great for people with cognitive (or intellectual) disabilities. It's a simple way of writing that isn't always simple to do! I've been learning more about writing in easy read for nearly 10 years now and love not only creating easy read documents, but also helping others to feel more confident in writing their own. 03.01.2022 Here's a great story of inclusion! My daughter's school have her doing an equine therapy this term. My daughter has autism.... but the friend who is going doesn't have any disabilities (that my daughter knows about at least!). Places are limited to 8, but they've chosen by need, not diagnosis.... Well done, nameless ACT Public Schools!!! PS: my daughter loves it!
