24.01.2022 To all my valued clients, I will keep you updated and be in contact over the coming week as the information unfolds further in regards to changes in restrictions and guidelines. Stay safe, stay well and Happy New Year.

23.01.2022 To all my valued clients seems like group Physiotherapy will remain closed at this time. I will keep you updated the more I know. Take care and enjoy what has eased at this time. Best wishes, Kath

14.01.2022 VICTORIAN MEMEBRS UPDATE 2: We've received clarification that only 1:1 treatment will be permitted under the easing of restrictions for metro Melbourne; co-trea...tment falls into the classification of 1:2 and as such constitutes a group intervention under the guidance. -- UPDATE: Allied Health providers are now confirmed to be able to return to providing routine care in metropolitan Melbourne, with the exception of indoor group classes which are still not permitted. Regional Victoria may recommence indoor group classes with a maximum capacity of 10 people (incl practitioner) and density quotient of 1:4sqm. -- In light of the announcement made by the Victorian Government today, we believe the return of routine face-to-face Allied Health services, including physiotherapy, is likely to commence in metro Melbourne as at 12am Friday 11 June. We do not believe that groups will be included in this return of face-to-face care. We are waiting on confirmation of this from CAHO, and will immediately update you upon receipt of this. Indoor physical recreation centres and sport, including gyms, remain closed at this time. For regional Victoria, the density requirement restrictions have eased for indoor and outdoor physical recreation and sport, including gyms, with a density quotient of 1 person per 4sqm for each. The maximum venue capacity is now extended to 150, including no more than 50 indoors, and maximum group size is limited to 10 people indoors and 20 outdoors.

10.01.2022 FOR METRO MELBOURNE MEMBERS: We will be meeting with the Chief Allied Health Officer on Tuesday to clarify the implications of today's announcements regarding the easing of restrictions in metro Melbourne. As more information becomes available we will provide further updates.

08.01.2022 Breaking news. Private health insurers have announced funding for one on one physio telehealth for a range of presentations commencing Tuesday 14 April. This is the outcome we have been pushing for safe, remote delivery of care for patients.

07.01.2022 METRO MELBOURNE MEMBERS: We welcome with excitement today’s announcement from the Victorian Premier of the easing of restrictions on the delivery of Allied Hea...lth services, in particular physio. The return of routine face to face Allied Health services, including 1:1 hydrotherapy in indoor pools, represents a significant win for our profession and the health and wellbeing of our communities. We will be meeting with the CAHO tomorrow at midday for clarity regarding small group interventions and classes. Further updates will be provided to members after that meeting. UPDATE: We have just received advice from the CAHO that groups continue to be not permissible under the revised restrictions. We will advocate strongly in our meeting tomorrow with the CAHO for a swift return of small group interventions.

06.01.2022 Fingers crossed group physiotherapy will be back in studio. Still awaiting confirmation but will let you all know soon.

06.01.2022 SOCIAL DISTANCE . Great example of why we all need to keep our social distance and reduce our physical interaction with others! . You’d think for a sede...ntary society addicted to social media and video games this would be easy to do!. . #StopTheSpread #SaveALife COVID19 See more

05.01.2022 MELBOURNE MEMBERS The Premier's announcement this afternoon has not provided details on when indoor groups and classes can recommence. We will have clarity on t...hat in the next few days. We continue to advocate strongly for physios to treat more than one patient at a time, in appropriate settings, following strict COVID-safe guidelines. We will advise further information as soon as we have it.

05.01.2022 After much consideration, in response to COVID-19, Next Level Pilates will be temporarily closing it's doors effective immediately. To my valued clients - please check your emails for details, and for webcam appointment options to support you through this period.... Please keep in contact, and stay safe. I look forward to welcoming you all back when I re-open my doors. Best wishes to all during this challenging time, Kath xxoo
