24.01.2022 Got Everdell from @starlinggames to the table this last weekend. Really great game. Great artwork throughout, really loved all the little characters and their specific shops and stories. Great card play and lots of options at every turn. Despite the size the game moves on at a good pace.... A few negatives, mainly due to presence. That cardboard tree isn't going to last through too many builds. The game also takes up a ton of room on the table, I will need to think about how to get more than 2 players at the table. Overall a fantastic game and can really understand all of the buzz that it has received.

23.01.2022 Isle of Cats was played yesterday. Such a fun tile placement with some great family rules, although the negative points for unfilled rooms can feel a little unfair to the younger ones. Overall though a really enjoyable game.

21.01.2022 The Curious Elevator of Mr Hincks by @bluefishgames is an escape room/puzzle box. In order to make it to the next level of the Elevator you must enter the correct code. We laid all the pieces out on a rainy weekend and the kids loved it. The puzzles are hard so we have only made it about halfway through so far. 18.01.2022 Not great photos, but great memories of a camping trip. A favourite Hive by @gen42games and Muffin Time by @bigpotatogames and provided by @vr_distribution. Muffin Time is a great hand management/collection game that has plenty of take that actions against other players. The goal is to get to 10 cards in hand, all while trying to avoid other player's traps and action cards that they will play against you. I've played plenty of Undertow and really love this game Great components, absolutely premium product from the Chip Theory team.... Soo much strategy is needed, what dice are you going to unlock, what skill sets will you need for your current tyrant? Plays just as well solo or coop. Incredible customer service and care from the team.

03.01.2022 I've spent the last few nights playing Hadrian's Wall from Bobby Hill and @garphillgames and have been really enjoying it. - This game really is a roll/flip and write on steroids. So many decisions to make at any time and you really have to think about how to maximise your turns. - I have been playing solo, on easy, where the attack phase seems a bit underpowered with the enemy doing little damage to me. I would probably recommend have your first game in easy and then ju...mp straight to medium. - absolutely brilliant solo, with limited interaction with others in the multiplayer. Not a massive issue either way, in my opinion. - art and graphic design are absolutely brilliant from @samphillipsillustration, I see those priests glaring at me in my sleep. - don't like the idea of setting up a game AND playing it at night? Then this is the game for you, pull a couple of sheets and grab 2 decks of cards and ready to go! Overall I would highly recommend giving this one a go.
