24.01.2022 Queensland is known for its warm climate and great outdoors all year round. This lifestyle also means we are exposed to high levels of sun exposure. It is important that we are all familiar with our skin and it's changes. QLD Health recommends checking your own skin regularly and speaking to your GP if you have any concerns or notice any changes. For more information about checking your skin, visit https://www.health.qld.gov.au//how-to-check-your-skin-for-

08.01.2022 Today is World MS Day. The aim of today is to bring the global MS community together to share stories, raise awareness and campaign with everyone affected by multiple sclerosis (MS). Multiple sclerosis (MS) is one of the most common diseases of the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord). Today, 2.8 million people around the world have MS. Most people with MS are diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 40. Symptoms can include blurred vision, weak limbs, tingling sensatio...ns, unsteadiness, memory problems, and fatigue. MS is two to three times more common in women than in men. There is no drug that can cure MS, but treatments are available which can modify the course of the disease (https://worldmsday.org/). It is important that we show our support to those effected by MS, and to raise awareness for this condition. To learn more about MS, visit https://www.msif.org/ or speak to a GP.
