17.01.2022 Training around an injury. Emma tore a ligament in her ankle while at soccer practice, which has meant we have not been able to load her ankle. Working alongside Emma’s Physio, we have been able to still work the lower body. ... Emma’s program was modified which has incorporated more isolated leg work due to her ankle injury. 17.01.2022 Age is not a barrier! I got my first gym membership at the age of 50. During my first visits to the gym I found the weight training room quite intimidating so I booked in for a PT session and was so lucky to find one who was very passionate about his job.... I went from one weight training session a week to slowly progressing to 6 days a week, which I am currently doing at present. I also becamevery passionate for the fitness industryand made a transition out of my hospitality job of 34 years to becoming a fitness professional. The best decision I have ever made. She doesn’t like exercising but has been consistently strength training twice a week with only a couple of sick days throughout this whole time....
