21.01.2022 Saturday we had two beautiful girls compete in the ANB North Queensland Naturals in Townsville. Sharon placed third in a tough over 30’s figure line up and the first timer Tara placed 3rd in fitness model and 2nd place in swimsuit. They are still warming up as there is still plenty of this season left.

01.01.2022 Understanding calorie deficit a little more. Firstly, figure out your BMR ( Basal Metabolic Rate) or aka how many calories you burn in 24 hours doing nothing. Now get your calculator; For men:BMR = 10 weight(kg) + 6.25 height(cm) - 5 age(y) + 5... For women:BMR = 10 weight(kg) + 6.25 height(cm) - 5 age(y) - 161 Or you can simply use an online calculator. I do also, no #quickmath here. Obviously you move around, go to work and normal daily activities. This is where you can figure out your TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure) Some people have more active jobs and lifestyles so this does vary per person. This is where a little guess work comes in and honesty of how active you are. If your lazy AF and no gym, multiply your BMR by 1.2. Moderate gym goer (3-5times a week) x1.6 and if your crazy gym junky, multiply as much as 1.95. This can also be done with a online calculator to find your maintenance calories. That is the amount you eat to maintain body weight. It's suggested to only minus 250 to 500calories a day off your maintenance. This will have you around the mark of 200-500g actual weight loss. **do note you most likely will see bigger drops in the first several weeks due to water weight**
