Its a great night to invite a friend as we play unlimited games of barefoot bowls, feast on a BBQ dinner and celebrate an awesome year. 22.01.2022 Spontaneous NYA Social Night Alert! Join us this Tuesday the 6th October from 6:30pm at Archie Brothers Toombul. This is a great chance to hang out with other YA’s in the Nexus Community. With bowling lanes, arcade and ticket games, virtual reality rides and dodgems, there is plenty of fun to be had! There is also food available if you would prefer to just grab something to eat. 21.01.2022 Join us next Thursday for a Burgers and Games night from the comfort of your own home via Zoom. We will be logging in at 7pm and having dinner together (BYO). At 7:30pm we will split into different rooms to play some games. You will need to make a Tabletopia account at tabletopia.com to join. We will be praying for all of our Young Adults that are studying and then filling your stomachs with delicious greek food thanks to Greek Recipe Food Truck. Greek food and drinks will be available for purchase but if you bring your Student ID, you will receive one if their delicious souvlakis on us! Cant wait to see you all there!

16.01.2022 The Celebration Service for Ps John Lewis is planned for 11am, this Friday 28 August. The service will be live-streamed online, visit https://www.mynexus.com.a...u/ps-john-lewis for all the details including ways that you can support the Lewis family. Given the current COVID restrictions in place, the ceremony will be a private service and by invitation only. If you plan to watch the service live, we encourage you to make time and gather in small groups to watch this special service together which will honour the legacy of this great man of God. If youre unable to watch the live-stream we will also have the recording of the Celebration Service available on our website from Friday evening. #lifetogether

09.01.2022 It is with great sadness that we announce that Ps John Lewis passed away in the early hours of this morning. We lose an amazing hero of the faith, who has impac...ted so many through a life of faithfulness, serving God with every fibre of his being to the very end. Ps John led Northside Christian Family Church (now Nexus Church) for 31 years and it has continued to grow from strength to strength. A blessing that we all share as a result of his unwavering faith and commitment to the Gospel. Please continue to pray for Val Lewis and the extended Lewis family as they now mourn the loss of their beloved husband, dad and grandfather. Val has been incredibly strong and full of faith throughout Ps Johns health challenges, she continues to inspire us all with her character and resilience. Let us together now be a source of strength for her. The details of the funeral service are still being finalised with the family. Due to current COVID restrictions around funeral gatherings, the service will be by invitation only. However, the service will be live-streamed so you will be able to participate in the celebration of his wonderful life.

01.01.2022 HELLO : we wanted to take this chance to introduce ourselves and our family to you. Rhi and I (Andy) are very excited to be the new YA Pastors of Nexus Church. We are so thankful for the way that Ps Cam and Crystelle led before us and look forward to building on the legacy that they have left. We are also so excited for the vision that Ps Nathan and Bec has for Nexus and count it a real privilege to serve alongside them. We are excited to discover what it is that God has in s...tore for all of you. With our eyes firmly on Jesus, we cant wait to experience life together and see you step into the call that God has placed on your life. A little bit about us - Andy - loves the outdoors, loves sport and is a secret Whitney Houston fan! Rhi - loves people, loves a good cheese platter and thinks she can sing like Whitney Houston! We have been married for 8 years and have been through a lot in this time. We have had some incredible adventures together but we have also had some crippling hard times too. We have been blessed with two beautiful girls, Coco and Sparrow, no doubt you will see them scurrying around at church. We cant promise we will be perfect or that we will get things right all the time but we can promise that as we lead the YA ministry we will allow the Holy Spirit to lead us and we will constantly pursue the vision he has given us for all of you. With all that being said, we would love to meet you so please come up and say hi to us on a Sunday or anytime through the week. 2020 will be a great year for Nexus YA!
