25.01.2022 Using a combination of 3D scanned point clouds and existing 2D drawings, we can model directly from the clients plant and equipment with millimetre accuracy. This gives our clients confidence that maintenance periods to install items (like these newly designed flexible couplings) with occur with minimal disruption to shutdown schedules by fitting correctly the first time.
21.01.2022 This is a recently completed a BT50 Fly Cutter Face Mill for a local on-site machining company.
18.01.2022 3D scans allow us to replicate existing assets with accuracy. This OEM cast steel elbow is a non-standard pipe diameter ball mill chute, and has a 16 week lead time from china. In a breakdown event we are able to design as a fully fabricated item, and confirm the fabricated item fits perfectly within the design envelope!
16.01.2022 Apologies for the lack of recent posts, but we have been flat-out completing projects for local businesses. This one is a quick and simple design for a folding maintenance platform to get some basic load simulations.
07.01.2022 Using our software's interoperability with other programs such as "Autodesk Revit" allows us to take basic civil and structural designs and build detailed models with shop fabrication drawings for Engineers to audit and Manufacturers to construct.
04.01.2022 Using the Nastran FEA INCAD software to audit some mobile equipment access ladders. Non-linear analysis allows us to check the clients existing equipment meets AS1657 (Fixed platforms, walkways, stairways and ladders - Design, construction and installation) When it doesn't, we can quickly apply design fixes and get manufacturing details back to the client for correction.
