25.01.2022 FIELD STATUS UPDATE: as of 2pm GCCC have closed our fields. We have checked them ourselves and they are very slushy, we thought we might be able to use some fields but no such luck. Games will NOT be played tonight Monday 27/7. Next week we will have doubleheader.

If you or anyone you know have been anywhere below please get tested and stay home Any Queenslander on the south side of Brisbane, particularly in the Logan and Springfield Lakes regions, has been urged to get tested even they show only mild symptoms. Two young women returned to Brisbane on July 21 from Melbourne via Sydney on flights VA863 and VA977.... 17.01.2022 Even though our fields have been opened by council it is currently spitting and looking like its not going to get any better, so unfortunately we will call tonight off with a double header next Friday night. Lets hope the weather gods are kinder next week stay home, stay dry and stay warm
17.01.2022 Happy Friday to our touchies, REMINDER OF OUR RETURN TO PLAY GUIDELINES GET IN, PLAY, GET OUT ... Please arrive only 10 minutes before your game and vacate the venue straight after. We know we havent seen each other in a while but no hugs/kisses/catch ups around the fields. Go directly to your field of play unless you are coming to admin. SPECTATORS All spectators MUST sign in via the electronic signon - the code to scan is situated at all the sanitisation stations. If there are too many people congregated in an area, you will be asked to move on. You must keep 1.5 m distance from other family groups. SANITISE EVERYONE : Please sanitise your hands before and after games. There is sanitisation stations located around the fields PLAYER SIGN IN/OUT All players must be ticked off the playing list with the referee at your field before your game. NO HAND SHAKES - please still make sure to thank the referee/opposition for the game. NO SPITTING Keep personal items to a minimal & to yourself - including water bottles, towels. Maintain social distancing where possible If you have been sick, please do not attend! Canteen will be open for food and drinks so please ensure you maintain social distancing. If we all continue to maintain our protocols as above we will be able to continue to play each week, so lets ensure we all do the right thing so we can keep going x Cheers everyone

16.01.2022 Wet weather update 4.15pm 7/8 Our grounds are soaked and more rain is coming according to the radar, so we have decided to postpone tonights games. Between covid and weather we are being challenged! So next week is a public holiday so no games, check the draw the week after as we will have 2 consecutive weeks of double headers to play rained out games. Stay dry, stay safe

05.01.2022 We are receiving a lot of questions regarding Covid and whether we are still operational. As per industry guidelines set by Sport & Rec we are still able to operate PROVIDED we all follow our covid guidelines. To confirm : 1. EVERYONE attending our venue MUST sanitise upon arrival 2. All SPECTATORS MUST sign in via our electronic sign on 3. All players MUST sanitise upon completion of game... 4. All spectators must maintain social distancing. Sanitisation stations and electronic sign on stations are located throughout our venue. Provided we continue to follow our guidelines strictly we will be able to continue. Lets do everything we can to stay safe and stay playing.
05.01.2022 In regards to the public holiday on Friday 14/8. Please note all our term dates were set pre covid, with all the changes in recent times we will change the 14/8 games to the following week making it a double header. draw will be updated in coming days to reflect these changes. NB: If games tonight are postponed these will be played in 3 weeks ensuring another doubleheader.

We are urgently seeking : Draughtsman - to draw up some plans for council... Concretors - to quote works we want done Shed (storage) - quotes/plans As we are under the pump we do need THREE quotes for concreting and shed.
