24.01.2022 Syzgium, otherwise known as the popular Lilly Pilly, is the perfect choice for lush hedging. The Australae Pinnacle variety is very narrow, tall and compact, producing glossy green leaves, with contrasting red-brown new growth. Pinnacle is ideal for hedging, screening and topiary and can also thrive in containers. From Matt and I, please stay safe and well... x

23.01.2022 It happens every year like clockwork one of your co-workers comes in feeling a bit under the weather and suddenly half the office is sharing a box of tissues. Unfortunately, the average adult will catch two colds a year. And because a cold and flu are viral, you’ll find little relief in antibiotics presumably leaving you vulnerable to the aches, chills and congestion that comes along with a bad cold or flu. Mint is of the easiest little plants to grow and its main active... ingredient is menthol, which is nature's remedy for thinning mucus and loosening phlegm (apologies to those of you just having breakfast :). The best part about mint? You can reap its benefits just by being near it. The next time you feel congested, place a few mint leaves under your nose and breathe in heavily. To further open up your sinuses or soothe a sore throat, make yourself a cup of hot peppermint tea with real, fresh picked mint leaves. So be prepared for this winter's cold season and head to your nearest garden centre for a pot of nature's own cold relief remedy. #ngiwa #wagardencentres #independentgardencentres #coldrelief #naturesimmunityremedy #mintismint

23.01.2022 No matter the size or style of your home, plants are always a good idea. It never hurts to add a touch of nature in rooms that are usually taken over by steel, wood, and other hard elements.

16.01.2022 UPDATED Please note we are limited by how much we can carry at this stage. The supplier has made no indication that there will be a supply problem as the...ir core business is supplying commercial market gardens. If we are unable to fulfill in the first order we will continue to place orders with the supplier to satisfy demand. It may mean that some varieties become unavailable or new varieties become available. Please don't panic!!! Please also note that these seedlings will not be coming with picture tags - just a hand written tag. Also know that these seedlings will be pick up only from our nursery as we are still trying to maintain our core business. Pick up will be at designated times to ensure that we meet current regulations. Thank you all for your patience. Update Ok all we have the message - there is sufficient need. We will be placing an order in the next hour for us to collect Wednesday. Seedlings should be available from Thursday. However due to social distancing laws we will need to allocate timeslots for collection. We will look at how to do this on Facebook if it is possible and as soon as we have worked this out will inform all.

14.01.2022 PLEASE NOTE: This information is current at the time of posting, and things may change at any time. We urge all members to keep up to date with all changes via official sources. ***... The Federal Government has announced a $17.6 billion economic stimulus package to counter the economic downturn caused by the impact of COVID-19. The package is targeted at maintaining consumer confidence, supporting business investment and keeping people in work. It includes measures that extend to primary industry businesses. It is focused on providing relief over the next 3 months, in the belief that the impact of COVID-19 will be temporary. However, it is scalable, enabling the government to expand on these measures and add new measures if the situation intensifies over the next few months. Greenlife Industry Australia has welcomed the support for business acknowledging that the industry is already under pressure from the prolonged hardship of drought and in some regions, bushfires and floods. The measures in yesterday's stimulus package will benefit industry businesses and some households. An information summary has been prepared for Members on the link below. If you have any questions regarding the information, please contact Peter Vaughan on (02) 8861 5100.
