13.01.2022 Well all the hard work has nearly paid off, with the amazing support of the NGK team over the last few years and now with the support of NTK we have been able to do 2 Class 7’s for this year, we’ve been taking out time to do the new one right and when we had the opportunity to get a second one we jumped on it. After many late nights we have the second car all sorted and ready for Pooncarie this weekend and with some more late nights we plan to have them both out on the track ...and both 100% for Millicent later in the year. 08.01.2022 2nd in Class, 24th outright and driven back onto the trailer, can’t really complain about that result. Was one of the toughest few weeks we have had in the last few years leading up to any event, not sure if it was the time frame between racing last, the things that didn’t go right for us or a little of column A, B and a little C but when we were ready to give up we got a second wind, more friends and family chipped in and with that help we could just see the light at the end... of the tunnel. It’s such an emotional roller coaster, wanting to race v’s missing family time at home, wanting to sleep v’s not sleeping, put diffs in v’s pulling diffs out etc etc etc but we made it to the start line and gave ourselves every chance the finish the near 400ks of racing. The help we had this time around was the true difference to us going or not going, it’s as simple as that, so to all those that put their had up, even in a small way we say thanks for the support. At the event we were supported once again, the GORBA crew had a fair few entries there this time around and it was lucky for us, we had a couple of fire extinguishers in the green but out of date in the race truck so it was going to be a near 4 hour turnaround back to Mildura to get more but once again friends jumped in and took there’s out of their caravans to save us the trip, it’s this help that truly makes this sport what it is and it makes you want to keep coming back. Casualty count for the weekend was - banana’d front diff ( damn you hate 19!! ) - passenger side mirror - back LH sliding side window and last but not least, the back glass window off the Ranger, but that one’s another story for another day, haha I could keep going in about the event, the sport and the event but I’ll just say you are all awesome people for what you do to help us get to events and to make events happen, can’t wait for round 2 in Griffith in 6 odd weeks. #ngk4x4motorsport #ngksparkplugs #ngk #rycofilters #ryco #repco #procomp #m2rhelmets #roadsafe #castroledge #dba #clutchindustries #whiteline #gatesracing #nolathane #drivetech4x4 #aegpowertoolsau #aeg #fanmaster #aagaskets #4terrainultimate #centurybatteries
