23.01.2022 STAGE 3 & 4 COVID-19 Update NGN Tooling continues to operate as normal. We have implemented and will continue to implement social distancing and hygiene practices. NGN Tooling is still fully stocked with all our standard tooling and are still manufacturing our products. Back in March we started to order extra material to ensure that our stock remained high. We still have production located in Melbourne, but have now set up a second premise in regional Victoria to ensure produ...ction does not stop. There will be no shortage of supply, the only problem that may be encountered is the delivery. This is something that is out of our control, this is being experienced across the board for all industries. We are still available to assist with ordering and help as much as we can on the phone or email, until we can once again see you. 09.01.2022 When covid hit us in March and first lot of restrictions were enforced, we knew we had to set up a secondary premises where we could work from if restrictions were tightened. Well, 3 weeks ago here in Melbourne stage 4 restrictions were enforced meaning only very limited businesses were allowed to operate if they could not be done from home. This is only a small set up, a tenth of our workshop size, but so glad we did this as we can continue to manufacture our CBN’s, PCD’s, P...ilots, TCMW’s (just to name a few), and supply tooling to our customers globally. Beauty of being a family business This is one of the 4 machines here, which is used for cylindrical grinding pilots, and as you can see in the photos these are the reasons we can achieve fine tolerances, zero runout and accuracy for size. We double check our sizing with certified slip gauge blocks in dialed micrometers. Photo 1: Cylindrical grinder Photo 2: electronic measuring reader. Note displays 2 microns between the line, we can grind within 1 micron between the lines (.0001). Photo 3: The set up Photo 4: Pilot rod with male centres. That's how we achieve zero runout.
